We bought tickets for cocktail only since our kids are very pickey and wouldn't have eaten the food. The seats were in the very back - pretty far from the stage so hard for the kids to see. The sunset view was nice and it was close to our hotel, which offered a shuttle. The cocktails seemed to shut down early as well so didn't feel like we got our money's worth with that either. The show was just ok. Too much time was spent asking "Who has a birthday?" or "Who has an anniversary?" My wife and I agreed we wish we would have chosen a different laua to attend.

Ive been to several luaus on different islands. This one at the Sheraton was among the tops ones. Yes, there was waiting in line, but, being a solo traveler, chatting with others made that wait very interesting. I selected preferred seating which was perfect. Entertainment lasted from beginning to end, including watching a cliff diver (albeit a bit away) along with things to do like get a temporary tattoo, make a plumeria hair-clip, etc. All drinks were on the house. The dinner had a wide variety of foods with, of course, the ceremonial roasted pig. All were delicious, with perhaps the exception of poi (not to my liking). It was a very, very enjoyable evening.

Overall, the luau was a great experience! Be sure to dress cool as it is hot until the sun goes down about 7-730pm. We arrived by 415 for the 5 pm opening and we’re near the front of the line. Drinks were good, and open bar was generous. As for menu, it had great food but not much for picky younger eaters...just be prepared! Entertainment was great!
