Overview

This experience takes you on a scenic day trip that showcases the best of Maui’s craft breweries. Each brewery is unique, offering you several different styles of beer. Try your favorites and bring some home with you for later. We take you on a personal tour of all three local breweries, with a flight of beer at each stop, a delicious lunch and heavy appetizers. We do all the driving, so all you need to do is enjoy the great food and amazing craft beer. The ride between breweries will take you through some of Maui’s most gorgeous scenery. In the winter, there's even a good chance you can see humpback whales!

What To Expect

Kohola Brewery

You will receive a full tour of Kohola Brewery by one of Kohola's very own team members. Learn how they create the clean, easy drinking and well balanced beers they are known for such as the Lokahi Pilsner, Talk Story Pale Ale, Mean Bean Coffee Stout, Pineapple Blonde, the WaterMan IPA, Lahaina Haze and Red Sand Amber Ale. After the tour you will get to select a custom flight of beer and enjoy it with the rest of your private group in the tasting room.

Maui Brewing Company

After a beautiful (45) minute ride from Waikiki Brewing (be sure to keep an eye out for Humpback Whales during the winter months) you will arrive at Hawaii's largest craft brewery and Maui's flagship brewery: Maui Brewing Company! Here you will enjoy a tour of the brewery and the beautiful grounds that make up Maui Brew Co. After the tour you can relax in the beautiful open air atmosphere and enjoy your meal (lunch and dinner tours both feature your choice of a pizza, burger or veggie burger) and of course, another flight of delicious beer! Maui Brew Co has a great perch shop so be sure to check out their shirts, hats, growlers etc. This is also your last opportunity to use the restroom before we had back to Lahaina (45 minute drive). Once this portion of the tour is complete its back into the Sprinter van as we make the beautiful drive back to historic Lahaina.

Great, interesting tour…..even for non-beer drinkers! I booked this tour for my beer-loving husband on a recent trip to Maui. So glad I did! We visited 3 separate breweries and got to sample several different beers and even some kombucha (which I loved). Food is served at 2 of the 3 stops and was very good as well. At each stop, you could have other beverages (non and alcoholic), if you weren’t a beer drinker. Dustin was our tour guide and was so knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. His knowledge of beer and kombucha making is very impressive, and gave us some great suggestions on places to visit and places to eat during our 2-week Maui stay. You can schedule for them to pick you up and drop you off which was so appreciated! Great experience!

The brewery tour was great! We learned a lot and enjoyed all the beer and food. The hosts were very knowledgeable and easy to be around. Each of the breweries had a great atmosphere and everyone was so nice. One thing that was not the best was, we were buying merch at Maui Brewery after the tour and the young lady working there (by the merchandise) didn’t know anything about the beer we were trying to buy to go. On the tour the hosts were talking about how there are specific beers that you could only find here on Maui, so when the tour was over we wanted some of those beers to go and when we asked, she had no idea and offered no help at all. Other than that, I highly recommend going on this tour especially if you like beer and good food!
