One of the best places to see the sunset and stargazing and it's also the highest mountain on earth. Comfortable 4X4 passenger van as transportation.Jackets and gloves provided to keep you warm. Experienced tour guide to talk about our history and show you our amazing night with a laser pointer. Get close to the stars with our professional Celestron telescope and get a nice photo with our DSLR camera.

The stars were fabulously bright. Our guides were totally on it, arranging it perfectly to make the most of our incredible natural world!

Very educational and cold! Wear warm clothes. Visitor center was closed. Snacks and drinks were offered. Star viewing was amazing. Van comfortable and driver was very knowledgeable. Could be a bit shorter.

We had an awesome time! Hunter was super knowledgeable about Mauna Kea and the island in general. The stars were unbelievable and you definitely won’t have that experience many places in the world! Very cool tour!! My only advice is dress warmer than you think you need to! I suggest double layers of everything!! They provide coats and gloves, but still bring your own layers, especially socks!
