One of the best places to see the sunset and stargazing and it's also the highest mountain on earth. Comfortable 4X4 passenger van as transportation.Jackets and gloves provided to keep you warm. Experienced tour guide to talk about our history and show you our amazing night with a laser pointer. Get close to the stars with our professional Celestron telescope and get a nice photo with our DSLR camera.

The thrill of being on top of the world. Our guide, Anna, was truly knowledgeable about all the stars and planets we were seeing and could almost touch during our stargazing event. Would love to go back soon

Pickup was great. Tour guide was very informative. Sunset was beautiful. I had high hopes for the stargazing portion of the tour but we just ended up with rainy/cloudy weather and only got to see the stars for 5-10 minutes. No astro photo. The owner said they monitor the weather so I'm not sure how they missed rain that covered all of Mauna Kea. I personally cannot justify paying $249 to only view the sunset at the summit but if you're okay with that risk, then it's worth booking.

It was such a wonderful experience to see a lot of stars in Hawaii. The tour was well-guided to understand why, when and how the exotic terrains had been made from the mountain and also we could find constellations up there. It was kinda cold up there, but snacks and hot drinks were kindly offered so we could focus fully on the tour and kind guides :) 높은 고도에서 수많은 별들을 볼수 있는 매우 환상적인 경험이었습니다. 투어동안 가이드 분이 잘 설명해주셔서 화산 주변 지형이 언제, 어떻게 왜 이런 모양으로 만들어졌는지 잘 이해할 수 있었습니다. 그리고 별자리들도 친절히 설명해 주셔서 좋았어요! 위쪽은 살짝 춥긴했지만, 간식과 따뜻한 음료도 친절히 제공해주셔서 추운 날씨(온도와 바람)에도 불구하고, 투어와 가이드에 온전히 집중할 수 있었습니다.
