The wine market was so knowledgeable. He was kind, and let us do some “testing” of the wines sugars and alcohol levels.

Our winemaker, Nathan, was FULL of facts about winemaking and the history specifically of 7 Birches Winery in Lincoln. The wines we sampled were generous pours, and all good examples of the styles they produce. He walked us through the winemaking process and also the cooperage process, bottling,, corking and labeling. The tour was about 2 hours, but could have been abbreviated to an hour without all of the info about bottling/labeling etc. Good value the time spent, and a great way to spend a day that's too cold to ski!

We toured on Wednesday and had a private tour. We tried more than 6 wines and even a few ciders. The tour guide was well educated and enthusiastic and answered all of our questions. He also gave us recommendations for dining and other activities in the area.
