Overview

Get the complete Memphis experience on this all-inclusive city tour. It’s a part history tour, part attraction hopping, part food tour that will introduce you to everything that makes Memphis special. You’ll visit World Famous Beale Street (the Home of the Blues); the Lorraine Motel, to see the balcony where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated; the Rock 'n' Soul Museum or Edge Motor Museum (if option selected); Lansky Brothers Clothing Store, clothier to Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and B.B. King (and still one of the most stylish places to shop!); and get a barbecue tasting at one of the best barbecue joints in the city!

Along the way, we'll show you our favorite Memphis sights, including the Mississippi River, Victorian Village, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, old Cotton Row, and Court Square, the lovely and historic heart of 19th century Memphis.

Within a few blocks there are four different parking garages, and several open-air parking lots. The closest garage to our location (just two blocks away) is at 149 Peabody Place between Second Street and BB King Blvd., next to the Hampton Inn. You can try your luck with on-street metered parking, too, on Second Street just south of Beale; on Beale between Front and Second; or along Peabody Place from Front to Fourth Street.

Such a wonderful tribute to Elvis. I had a tear seeing all of the records and awards Elvis received. Such a talent gone too soon. A must see for music fans even if your not a mad Elvis fan.

Larry was wonderful and knowledgeable. I consider the price to be a good value as it included coach tour, fun guide, lunch at the famous Central Barbecue and admission to the Rock and Soul Museum. Larry covers the must-see places in Memphis like the Lorraine Hotel. I would take this tour again as it is a great introduction to Memphis.

This was a well thought out tour. The tour made sure you saw all of the highlighted sites in the area. The tour guide Cathy was very knowledgeable and was able to ask questions about the area that were not part of the trip. Lunch at Central BBQ was good too I still like Nashville BBQ - that's a personal preference the restaurant staff was good and made sure everyone was served in our group so that we could continue on with the tour. I like that the tour ended with being on your own so that you can take your time walking through the Rock N Soul Museum. I would highly recommend this tour for the price.
