Overview

Get the complete Memphis experience on this all-inclusive city tour. It’s a part history tour, part attraction hopping, part food tour that will introduce you to everything that makes Memphis special. You’ll visit World Famous Beale Street (the Home of the Blues); the Lorraine Motel, to see the balcony where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated; the Rock 'n' Soul Museum or Edge Motor Museum (if option selected); Lansky Brothers Clothing Store, clothier to Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and B.B. King (and still one of the most stylish places to shop!); and get a barbecue tasting at one of the best barbecue joints in the city!

Along the way, we'll show you our favorite Memphis sights, including the Mississippi River, Victorian Village, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, old Cotton Row, and Court Square, the lovely and historic heart of 19th century Memphis.

Within a few blocks there are four different parking garages, and several open-air parking lots. The closest garage to our location (just two blocks away) is at 149 Peabody Place between Second Street and BB King Blvd., next to the Hampton Inn. You can try your luck with on-street metered parking, too, on Second Street just south of Beale; on Beale between Front and Second; or along Peabody Place from Front to Fourth Street.

I really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was excellent. Larry, the tour guide gave us so much information about Memphis. The tour took us around downtown Memphis. We learned a great deal about Elvis, B. B. King and other singers from Memphis. The lunch at the restaurant across from the Lorraine Motel was tasty. We saw the duck run at the at the Peabody Hotel. The Rock and Soul was a great place for the tour to end. We were in the Rock and Soul Museum for over a hour. This was a good tour for the money. I will recommend this tour to my friends when they come to Memphis.

We enjoyed this tour. It hit on some places we would not have seen had we been on our own. The tour guide was very personable and knowledgable. Coach was comfortable. All in all, it was worth it
