Memphis Discovery Tour

Overview
Get the complete Memphis experience on this all-inclusive city tour. It’s a part history tour, part attraction hopping, part food tour that will introduce you to everything that makes Memphis special. You’ll visit World Famous Beale Street (the Home of the Blues); the Lorraine Motel, to see the balcony where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated; the Rock 'n' Soul Museum or Edge Motor Museum (if option selected); Lansky Brothers Clothing Store, clothier to Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and B.B. King (and still one of the most stylish places to shop!); and get a barbecue tasting at one of the best barbecue joints in the city!

Along the way, we'll show you our favorite Memphis sights, including the Mississippi River, Victorian Village, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, old Cotton Row, and Court Square, the lovely and historic heart of 19th century Memphis.

April 21, 2018, my husband and best friends and RV travel buds took the Discovery Tour in Memphis, Tn and has Kathey as our tour director who was awesome. Our tour was three hours and very informative with several stops of interest. We have experienced several tours in different destinations and Kathy was the best tour director ever. Any employer would be so blessed to have such a professional in their employment. All the other directors we experienced before seemed to be college students that may or may not know the town history, yet tours are usually taken by middle aged adults that appreciate a mature woman educating them about the historical sights. The tour company is blessed to have her as one of their professionals. The B.B. King BBQ was delicious, the Rock andRoll Museum was awesome, the Peabody Hotel watching the duck parade for a swim in the fountain, then the drive by Mud Island, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the location of the death of Rev Martin Luther King, and many more historical sights and stories of historical interest. Highly Recommend and ask for Kathy. Regards, Teresa and Jim Hodge and Robert and Linda Harrington from TylerTexas.

Great tour. The other customers didn't show so we had a private tour. Our guide, Dylan, was most pleasant and knowledgeable.
The bbq tasting at Central BBQ was excellent.
The tour included most of the downtown/historic centre of Memphis, but not Sun Records.
