Overview

Take a relaxing horse trail ride through one of the most beautiful and largest urban parks in the USA. At a size of 4,500 acres this area covers more than five times the area of Central Park in New York City. While riding the horse trails with your trail guide, you'll have the opportunity to see deer, ducks, cranes and other wildlife. The horses are well-trained and can handle riders with all levels of experience.

Choose from morning or afternoon departures. All riders must weigh less than 240 lbs

Joan took us on a beautiful 1.5 hour trail ride through the scenic woods on the property. We saw numerous deer and other wildlife, and the experience was amazing. Very peaceful and relaxing. The horses are very well trained and were amazing at their jobs. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from city life for a few hours.

So we went to Memphis for a romantic weekend getaway. Beale street was good. Great food, dancing, drinks, all of it. River walk was fun. Theb Sunday afternoon we get to the stables, a little late gate 10 if you're going there....So our guide Craig gets us all set for the ride. Horses, well trained, no bucking, fussing, or anything. We hit the trail. Beautiful scenery, in the woods, a lot and I mean alot of deer running around, we rode by the lake, 30 minutes out...30 back...this was probably the best experience I've had in 20 plus years. And yes my significant other loved it...as a matter of fact she told me this morning to book it again. So Shelby Farms we say thank you for being so hospitable. We loved it! Great job!

Beautiful scenery. Wonderful trail leader. The horses were some of the most cared for we have ever encountered. The kids are already wanting to book another trip to Memphis so we can ride again. Shelby Farms is a beautiful setting for a horseback ride. Great value!!!
