I liked that this trip was accurately called a float trip instead of white water rafting and that the guides were very up front that the rapids were mostly 1s and 2s, so you're not disappointed at the end. I also liked that there was the option to paddle instead of just being guided. Currently in the "what to expect" section in the description of this tour, it says 1 mile of class 3 rapids (which it is not), whereas in the general description, it says 1 mile of class 2 rapids, so hopefully someone will fix that. This is an easy yet fun trip, which would be great for a beginner but also wasn't boring if you like more active paddling. Our guide Zach was friendly, informative, positive, and skilled. The bus ride wasn't too long, and we saw many bald eagles on it. There wasn't much wildlife on the trip, but I did see a bald eagle try to catch a fish, which was cool. I don't mind getting wet on a float trip, and had rain gear on under the waders they provide, but the waders are men's sizes and too big if you're petite. Splash guards might be better. Because it rains so much in this area, my advice would be to book the day before if it's nice weather, unless you enjoy paddling or floating in the rain, which obstructs visibility, wildlife viewing, and sometimes fun. We lucked out without rain.
