Mendenhall Glacier Ice Adventure Tour

Overview
Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. Kels & Kelby were amazing guides! They are very knowledgeable and attentive to the clients. Our trip today was incredible, it was a bright sunny day, perfect for canoeing and hiking. The glacier view up close is breathtaking. All the gear is provided, and after the trip is concluded, hot beverages are provided! I would do this tour again with them in a heartbeat. Best experience yet so far on our Alaska trip!

Had a great time and a lot of exercise. We got stuck with a bunch of folks who didn't not know they were going to half to work to get to the glacier. Just the luck of the tour I guess. We ended up working our butts off just getting through the head wind. The payoff was nice though you don't get too far out on the glacier, very few groups will get to go where you do.
