This was most definitely one of the coolest things we have ever done. We like more physical excursions and this one did not disappoint. Our tour guides, Paul and Lena, did a fantastic job of guiding us through the canoeing to the glacier. With the rain and cold weather, it was a challenge but one we loved doing. Once we got to the base of the glacier, it just got better and better. The history of the glacier and its formation is amazing. Tasting part of the ice and hearing the glacier crack was so damn cool. The hike is moderately strenuous but not ridiculous. Once you canoe back to camp, some delicious cocoa, coffee and snacks are available. This excursion was the most expensive we've ever done but by far the most rewarding. If you're looking for a once in a lifetime experience, don't hesitate to book this.

Wow, very glad to hear you had such an awesome experience with Lena and Paul! Our tour is definitely a bit outside of your regular excursion but as you said, well worth it! Thank you for joining us and thank you for leaving a great review!

What an awesome adventure tour for our small group of 8. Mike and Paul were the BEST! They were knowledgeable, funny, and great all around company. They followed all the safety protocols yet gave us the best access to the glaciers and the lake. We were given all the necessary gear including boots to keep our feet from getting wet. We paddles 6 miles RT and hiked 1.5 miles and we were able to get to the very edge of the glaciers for the most amazing views. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day and we made it back to our cruise ship in plenty of time for some last minute shopping and eats. All in all this was a spectacular adventure and we highly recommend this.

Fantastic trip, guides Paul and Mike were outstanding. They provided full rain gear, rubber boots and dry bags. Canoe travel was very scenic and quiet. We even got to take a special detour to the waterfall, very nice. We had very good weather, minimal wind, and the sun came out later. There is a fair amount of paddling and uneven surface hiking so be advised. Guides will tell a sad tale... the glacier is shrinking at an alarming rate, very sad to see it like this, but glad we came before the entire face disappears. Highly recommended.
