Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. What To Expect

Mendenhall Glacier

Guests will spend 60-90 minutes hiking around the rocky moraine and exploring near the Mendenhall Glacier.

The entire Mendenhall Glacier ICE Adventure Tour operates in the Tongass National Forest, the largest National Forest in the United States.

This was the highlight of my trip personally to Alaska. Liquid Alaska Tours with Mo and Ryan at the helm provided an incredible experience. From paddling 2.5 miles each way to and from the glacier, strapping on spikes to the provided boots later on when in the glacier to walk about all part of an amazing and fun experience shared with family! The gear provided during the excursion is top notch! I felt safe the entire time and both Mo and Ryan did an outstanding job sharing information about the region, glacier, and important factors to be aware of as we were on our excursion. A MUST DO! DON'T MISS THIS!

Amazing view. Fantastic tour. Great guides - Andrew and Micah! Overall, wonderful experience! It's quite a bit of work but it is well worth it. I highly recommend doing this tour.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this excursion while on a cruise in Alaska. The two ladies that ran the tour that day were wonderful. They made sure that we stayed safe but still got to see a ton of cool things. They were also great at pointing out the sights and teaching us about what we were seeing. This was an amazing company that was well organized and efficient. I would highly recommend them to anybody that is worried about booking an excursion outside of the cruise line.
