Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. What To Expect

This is a once in a life time experience of walking under and over a glacier. After a beautiful one hour canoe ride to the glacier (read strenuous pedaling) and a short hike, you reach the breathtaking Mendenhall Glacier Caves. You think you are in heaven when you walk out and put on the shoe crampons for the glacier hike. The glacier is like a paradise and you wouldn't want to come back. Liquid adventures provides all the safety gear and makes the trip comfortable for you. It was raining non-stop during our trip to the glacier and we didn't mind it all as the rain gear provided by the company was adequate. The best part of the trip was the guides. They were well trained and extremely entertaining (check the pic below :)). I would highly recommend this trip with Liquid Adventures. Thank you Mike

On Mendenhall ice cave/glacier adventure Paul and Josiah were terrific guides! They took many photos on my camera for me, gave great history and locale information and made the 5+ hour tour really exciting!
