Ben & Grant as our cramp-on, rubber boot glacier hiking and boat paddling guides really made this experience wonderful for myself, my wife, and our 22-year old daughter who was responsible for us being on an Alaskan cruise adventure in the first place because it was her college graduation present.
The paddling was not too strenuous since there are lots of others paddling as well if you need to take a break, plus our guides had everyone take breaks together every so often while they pointed out sights and narrated about the history of the land around us.
Hiking on the glacier was a really great experience and it is amazing looking at all of the blue ice...more than in my freezer !
Ice caves arenāt always available to explore but a pair of them were able to be visited the day we went in mid-August so we really enjoyed the heck out of that part of our trip,
The helicopters could not take people to the glacier due to the condition of the glacier where they land so we were doubly happy that we booked this adventure instead of the helicopter ride variation.
āIso-Static-Reboundā we all yelled in unison when back on the bus (inside joke...look it up).
Thanks, Ben & Grant !

Congrats on graduating college!
What an amazing college graduation present :)
Our groups are small, it is definitely a team effort to get to the glacier, but totally worth it. We explore the terminus of the glacier where there are a lot of glacier features and helicopters cannot land there, so it is quite a unique experience. Love the "Iso-Static-Rebound" chat!!! Thank you.
