Overview

Specially designed for guests coming on cruise ships! This is a 3 hour Tour. We meet at the downtown cruise ship dock. Enjoy the 30 minute narrated tour, past downtown Juneau out to the Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area. Explore the visitor center, trails and photo opportunities for 2 hours. Then your guide will be ready to take you back to the downtown dock area with great ideas for the rest of your visit to Juneau.

The glacier trolley tour was awesome, so beautiful! Our tour guide, Andrew was great, very knowledgeable and had all the tips! Loved nugget falls!

Driver was entertaining both ways; highlighting sights along the route to the glacier. The walk to the waterfall, Nugget Trail, was worth the time and very little effort. You can't see the glacier from the waterfall so view it before or after visiting the waterfall. The glacier is about 1 and 3/4 miles from the visitor center viewpoint so bring binoculars if you have them.

Our trolley driver was very informative and the views of the glacier were phenomenal! The Nugget Trail was good for people with mobility issues and children.
