Mesa Verde was the worlds first archaeological National Park and one of the first UNESCO designations in the U.S. The sites and ruins are greatly enhanced by a tour guides passion and knowledge of the area including flora and fauna, geology, native peoples and its historical archaeological record. There is a story and mystery at Mesa Verde that can't be obtained through sight seeing alone.

One of the main things to do while visiting Colorado for the first time, was to take the Mesa Verde Tour. I booked a half day tour and I can proudly say that it didn’t disappoint! What really made our tour so special, was our tour guide, Tosh Black. Tosh gave us all an educated explanation for each location we stopped along the tour. He made it so informative and interesting. The sights, Overlooks, & Cliff Dwellings were a must see. I recommend this tour to anyone who want to visit Colorado and leave with lasting memories!

We enjoyed every part of our tour. Luckly we had beautiful weather, not too hot not too cold. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. She didn't overwhelm us with information nor rush us through and sites.
