There's a dilemma. I'm a Certified diver. Honey, don't. They sell us the fact that we can dive together (I didn't see how since she had never dived... but hey, it was said...). For beginners, there is an aptitude test. Unfortunately, not speaking English well, my darling missed her test and could not dive. For a lot of good reasons: security first! Except she paid $239.-! And they didn't even deign to give him a shirt! So it's not going well...
Then the dive spot died coral level, as in many places.
The diversity of marine life is not exceptional, but there are some nice things to see...
Otherwise, the team is good, worthwhile, experienced, they take the time to explain.
So yes, but well... too bad...

Very sorry to hear about your frustration. Your party was a beginner but wasn't able to complete the beginner training. It's sometimes not because your party can't do the skills. It's the mind that being too powerful to think differently. It takes practice. Regarding the coral, no, they aren't dead. Hawaii has 1% of the hard coral and they are not vibrant but they are absolutely vital to the health of our ocean floor. They are slow in growth. We learn to appreciate that. Thank you.
