Mexican Street food, Tijuana Day trip from San Diego

Overview
Street food in Tijuana means, fat, salsa a quick service but mainly a bunch of flavor. Imagine being a student and in your way from the school to your work you don’t have time but a food truck can save you a give you the meal you need to keep going. That kind of experience is in our tour, walk and eat. In the Mexican street food you can find snacks like fresh fruit with lime and pepper who will refresh you in a hot summer day, boiled corn with a little of butter, lime and also salsa you can keep chatting with your friends and exploring the streets. The taco it’s the king of the streets, and there's many presentations  from the simple beans taco to the taco al pastor (asada pork with spices),  put a lot of wacamole and lime and the right salsa to take it to another level. At the end we should look for a good tap room to try craft beer. If you are more like to taste something sweet maybe a margarita in a authentic mexican cantina will be the option. During the tour and tasting the street food you will build your own opinion about mexico, come with us to cross the border.

Omg, This tour was so much fun. As others mentioned, I had to cross the border to meet my tour guide; there was no line to get into Mexica, so the crossing was pretty smooth and my tour guide, Alex, met me and my friend on the Mexican side with another couple. The day was pretty action-packed, we visited a host of different stands in the downtown area and got to eat a variety of different tacos, flavored drinks, and alcoholic beverages. I loved visiting the different shops, markets, and attractions between eateries, while also learning about Tijuana's culture, business, and seedy areas. Our tour guide Alex, was super welcoming, knowable, and entertaining to say the least; the other couple was also super friendly, which made for an enjoyable experience. My ultimate favorite part was the Tequila; you're going to have to go on the tour to see why. Despite the skepticism about Tijuana, the tour was pretty safe. If I'm ever back in Tijuana for some reason in the future, I would definitely go on the tour again, as I ran out of Mexican tequila ;( Thanks Alex and Border Tours for making my first exsperience in Tijuana, Gucci!

We did the 6 hour taco and beer tour for my husband's birthday. He loves tacos, beer, history, and culture so this tour was a perfect surprise gift/day date for him. Gregorio was our tour guide and he is awesome! He is knowledgeable and attentive and has a good sense of humor. I also felt like Gregorio did a good job of keeping the pan handler's at bay so that we could just enjoy ourselves. We had so much fun. The food was good and we also did a tequila tasting that was unexpected. At the end of the tour, we had dessert and did some souvenir shopping. I would give this tour a 5 star rating with the addition that the company could have done a better job in one area: sharing of information. We did not know where to go to meet our group ahead of time and finding parking seemed near impossible because the lots were full and we had to drive around a bit to find parking first before crossing the border. Once we spoke to Gregorio we were able to meet him however we had no way of knowing what to expect before actually getting there because the information was not provided beforehand despite emailing and calling the company days before the day of the trip with no response.
