We go on experience so you can get to know the best places in Tijuana to taste the best street food. Could be Tacos (Variety of it), "Garnachas" Fried Mexican food , Churros on the street, etc. You will experience the local eating and in our way we visit markets, museums or alleys.

It was a little nerve wracking when the night before tour I received an email stating the guide would meet on the Mexico side of border and not on US side as advertised. All in all..border crossing was a breeze. Guide Gregorio was passionate about Tijuana, the food and its culture. Great guide..great tour..the tamales and quesidillas were 🔥. Mahalo to Gregorio 🤙🏽

The meetup was a little sketchy. My friend and I didn’t see anyone at the meet up location and then when I checked email: apparently we needed to cross the border ourselves and meet on the other side. Then when we crossed the border I received a text to wait for the tour guide. Good thing I had roaming in Mexico or else I wouldn’t know what to do. After that we had to walk around for two hours before we got to eat anything. If I knew this before hand I would have had breakfast. Then we had tamales, quesadillas, and Caesar’s salad. The food was good but no tacos!? Everyone on the tour felt a bit weird about it. Some also bought 2 bottles of tequila and had trouble on the way back. Apparently you could only bring 1 liter back to the US. So beware. And the gift shop they bring you to, you could try bargain a little. It felt like they marked up the price quite a bit. Overall I don’t feel the value was worth the money but I do like the food. I would have rated higher if it wasn’t because they told some people that you could bring 2 liters of alcohol back and the marked up price of some gift shop places.

Ask to have Hamberto as your tour guide. He was amazing and fun and informative.Had a great time talk and eating and getting to know our group. At the beginning we had issues on the American side with parking to even start the tour. Hamberto sent us a link and even came and met us directly at our car to help us with parking. He is very sweet and kind and shows you all the great spots. It was one of the best tours I have ever been on high recommend. I will say get there very early for parking if going on a Saturday.
