Mexican Street food, Tijuana Day trip from San Diego

Overview
Street food in Tijuana means, fat, salsa a quick service but mainly a bunch of flavor. Imagine being a student and in your way from the school to your work you don’t have time but a food truck can save you a give you the meal you need to keep going. That kind of experience is in our tour, walk and eat. In the Mexican street food you can find snacks like fresh fruit with lime and pepper who will refresh you in a hot summer day, boiled corn with a little of butter, lime and also salsa you can keep chatting with your friends and exploring the streets. The taco it’s the king of the streets, and there's many presentations  from the simple beans taco to the taco al pastor (asada pork with spices),  put a lot of wacamole and lime and the right salsa to take it to another level. At the end we should look for a good tap room to try craft beer. If you are more like to taste something sweet maybe a margarita in a authentic mexican cantina will be the option. During the tour and tasting the street food you will build your own opinion about mexico, come with us to cross the border.

Tadeo was the BEST. We had lots of fun exploring Mexico. He knew lots of history and where exactly to go for the greatest foods and gift shops. He has a wonderful personality and he makes sure you are treated like royalty and that u understand everything completely. The only thing I did not like was THE DIRECTIONS are not accurate at all . If it was not for Tadeo calling my cell phone to check on me I would have missed my trip . They are poorly structured in this event . Otherwise I had a great day

I had only one day to spend in Tijuana and wanted to see as much as I could as efficiently as possible. Also, I was traveling alone and don't speak the language, so I figured being part of a tour would be my best bet. Parking at and crossing the border was simple enough. My tour guide, Andres, greeted me at the other side and informed me I'd be the only person on his tour that day. I cringed a little as my expectations of having the safety net of a group were dashed. I was also afraid it would be awkward to be with alone with a stranger for 6+ hours. Luckily, my fears dissipated quickly. Andres was so warm and friendly; he assured me I'd be safe and the day would be exciting. He was right! He was extremely knowledgeable about Tijuana and seemed to know his way around like the back of his hand. We ventured around downtown, strolled through markets, ate AMAZING tacos, tasted tequila, shopped and took lots of photos. Stops included a popular taco truck, a lovely park, the Tijuana history museum, Our Lady of Guadalupe cathedral, a bar for margaritas, and more. The highlight of the tour was taking a bus out to Friendship Park where the border wall meets the ocean. The sight itself plus all the artwork along the border was fascinating. This is also the location where you must have you photo taken with the colorful "Tijuana" sign. Oh, and the fish tacos. I will probably never eat another fish taco again because none will compared to the fish tacos I ate on this tour. DELICIOUS. Anyway, if it wasn't obvious, I highly recommend this tour if you're wanting to explore Tijuana for the first time. I saw so much more than I expected to in just one day. I genuinely enjoyed Andres' company; the coversation was easy and he taught me so much about the city. I'm inspired to not only return to Tijuana one day but to visit the rest of the country as well. Until then, I'll drink from my souvenir bottle of tequila and dream about those fish tacos.

First of all, this tour is wheelchair accessible to push your love one around the streets of Tijuana. However, bear in mind that the buildings are very old. With that in mind, the restrooms are very small and your love one in the wheelchair needs to walk to seat on toliet. Otherwise, a very good tour, safe, get to know culture of Mexico, and easy border crossing back to United States with your passport card!
