Wynwood

Learn about the different styles of graffiti art focusing and be introduced to artist Typoe, a Miami-based mixed media artist, his works range from paintings and murals to larger-than-life sculptural works. His work has been exhibited from art galleries to museums. Typoe is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice plays upon the constant tension between dark and light subject matter as he clearly demonstrates on this mural.

Fantastic. Our guide (Mirka) was great. We enjoyed our time with her very much. The food was excellent and the wine was really good. I would buy a bottle. More time at the Wall would have been nice but we were a slow moving group and she gave us extra time. A1 rating.

Tour was very good Food was excellent Would have liked to have spent more time in Wynwood walls with more explanation about all the art.. this part felt rushed.

The Wynwood Food and Art Tour and our tour guide, Mirka, was fabulous. This amazing tour offered a diverse and flavorful journey through some of Miami's best bites. Each stop showed us the culinary diversity of this vibrant neighborhood. From tasty tacos bursting with zesty flavors to golden empanadas, to a Cuban coffee lovers haven paired with incredible croquettas, then on to the most unique and delicious pizza ever. Creative toppings of pear, nuts, honey and gorgonzola which was the perfect balance of flavors. The tasting tour ended with artisinal ice cream that featured inventive flavors paired with a liquor. Mirka's knowledge of Wynwood's art and history added another layer of richness to the experience, making it not just about the food but also about the unique neighborhood. We highly recommend this tour and guide.
