I booked this trip for my parents and I. I just moved to Georgia and my parents were visiting for the first time. This tour was a winner! A great way to spend about 4 hours. My parents could not stop talking about what a nice time they had. John is a wonderful guide and truly an ambassador for Midtown. He welcomes you into his community and life. The food was great and at just the right portions. Loved that we enjoyed cocktails also! This tour will be my "go-to" with other future guests.

"Future guests"! Bring them on! Strolling my Midtown neighborhood, tasting, sipping, learning, and laughing is always a lot of fun! Four hours during the middle of the day typically means that I'm going to be your lunch...and maybe even your dinner! Let's not forget that bag of treats you all carried home, some yummy delights for a night time snack...or even for breakfast!! It was a beautiful Georgia day! A great group of 4 with lovely little conversations! I even heard some out loud grins!! Angie, Thanks for sharing your adventure with my TA readers!! Let's do this again!!

I traveled to Atlanta with my husband's family for a long weekend this fall. The food tour with Peachtree was above and beyond our expectations. John was super friendly, funny, knowledgeable about the city of Atlanta, and definitely did not lead us astray with food options. We tried a variety of different foods while also learning about the history of the city. He also gave us a number of great recommendations for food options to visit during the remainder of the weekend. I would highly recommend this food tour for anyone visiting Atlanta for the first time, or for any locals who want to tour the city in a new way. We absolutely loved it!! Thanks John!

Hi Steph!! I always love to hear that my guests took advantage of my recommendations for more food and fun in Atlanta. Big city! Lots of choices! And the "Suggestions" attachment that I send out to everyone seems to help sort through all those "choices". I only wish that more locals would give my tour a chance as it's the hidden treasures that make my Midtown neighborhood so much fun. But I gotta love my visitors who have a blast...and then start thinking about coming back...and soon! Thanks for the shout out to my TA readers! My best always! John

My family takes a long weekend trip to a different city every year and we always sign up for a food tour. John's food tour was by far the best we've experienced. Each stop was unique in regards to the type of food served and also why the location was initially chosen. The pace of the walking tour was relaxed, the food was always served on time, and the wait staff at each location was lovely. John was extremely knowledgable about the history surrounding many of the stops in Atlanta, and you can tell he has a true passion for where he lives and what he does. Definitely come hungry, (don't expect to eat anything healthy), bring your walking shoes, and be open to learning a ton about Atlana's midtown area. Would recommend taking this tour in the beginning of your vacation/trip as to give you enough time to try all the awesome restaurants throughout your stay.

And what a lovely adventure we all had!! I'm thinking that I might see you all next year as our new Mercedes Benz Stadium, a state-of-the-arts structure built for our Falcons, will be open in 2017. Quite the building to tempt the boys to come back...and you ladies do more exploring...and shopping!! I think that it's obvious that my sweet Jeri and I wouldn't live anywhere else as my Midtown neighborhood, much like my tour, is a lot of food...and a lot of fun!! My best to the entire C. family!! Thanks for the terrific review!!
