We were 4 girls looking for something interesting to do and found Peachtree Food tours. We started out in the morning and walked along Peachtree street. John was funny and delightful, he was very welcoming and accommodating. He also helped us find information for other nightlife events we wanted to attend. The tour was long but the portions were nice and the food was delicious. I recommend doing the trip on your first day in Midtown so you learn where all the best dining is located and some fun facts about Midtown.

Thank You, Ms. S. for taking a few moments to share your adventure with TA readers! Yep! We all asked anyone we ran into on the tour, "Where would you go in Atlanta for a variety of places to dance and enjoy a cocktail?" Wow! I learned about a couple of lovely restaurant/bars I had never heard about!! The search was great fun!! Best tip of the day?? Go on a food tour the first day in town! I'm loaded with all kinds of suggestions for not only dining but also where to go for some fun. The Ponce City Market and watch the sunset from The Roof! Yep! And there's so much more to do and you can do most of it in my Midtown neighborhood! I'm thinking that you four might be coming back to Atlanta soon...for Round 2!! My best always!!

My daughter, daughter in law and I had a great time on John's food tour. We have all experienced food tours in other cities and those do not compare to Peachtree. John provided interesting local history, we met lovely people and dined on delicious food (the shrimp & grits and donut burger were highlights). Take John's tip and book his tour once you arrive in Atlanta. It will give you the lay of the land and insight into terrific restaurants and things to do/entertainment during your stay.

Ah-h-h... My NFL travelers! Thank you, Betsy, for taking a minute to post a lovely review! Next fall I can only wonder where you'll be...in another city...and on a Food Tour!! Go for it! There's a bunch of great foodie adventures out there!! Or...Atlanta's state of the art, brand new stadium will be open and you may end up back here! Join me on another food tour as I'll offer different restaurants...and make up some more stories!! My best to you all!!! John

This was the best Food/Drink tour we have taken. It was a great way to learn about the local history while enjoying wonderful food and drinks. I liked that John kept the size of the group to no more than 8 people (our group was 6). This allowed for everyone to easily hear and sit together at each restaurant. Highly recommend this tour.

S. - Thanks for the high praise!! .....and for recognizing that small groups can be so much more fun. Not only can you hear all about the terrific history of Midtown Atlanta but then there's all those stories that I tell about my neighborhood and its 50+ restaurants!! The weather has cooled down (finally!) and the Tour's mix of great food and fun drinks certainly makes for an enjoyable Atlanta afternoon. And...the good news??!! There are a lot of fabulous Food Tours out there and when you travel, count on your TA reviewers to steer you in the right direction. A Chicago pizza tour! A Portland chocolate tour! A Madrid tapas tour! A Mexico City evening taco tour! Try to take a tour the first day you can so you can get travel-smart about that city. Make the food part of your cultural discoveries! I see more Food Tours in your future!! My best! John
