The selection of restaurants, the choice of foods with expertly paired beverages, the history of Midtown and the fascinating and practical travel tips John provided made for a fun, enjoyable time - definitely a great way to spend a morning in Atlanta. The shrimp and grits dish was simply outstanding! I've been on a number of food tours, but this was by far the most enjoyable - I highly recommend it.

Thanks, James, for reminding me that when my guests get a taste of that "outstanding" shrimp and grits, many want to get every bit of the yummy broth...and a spoon just doesn't get it all. What I need to do is to provide small pieces of "sopping" bread to really clean that bowl. 😀 The next time you're in town, go get a big ole bowl...but be sure to give me a buzz. I'll join you!! Thanks again for taking a few moments to send along this terrific review. My best! John

I picked this food tour as an activity for my family to experience while they visited me in Atlanta. Peachtree Food Tours was rated well and after going on the tour I understand why that was the case. John was very hands on and personable through the tour. He was full of conversation which helped move things along smoothly, he easily was able to speak on history, food, and personal matters. The selection of restaurants wasn't something I would have guessed and provided for an interesting mix of choices which were strategically selected for tour guests. I would say for anyone interested in learning and experiencing more in Midtown Atlanta, definitely check out Peachtree Food Tours with John.

Thanks, Jay, for the "local" review!! Even on my Food Tour today, my Atlanta area guests said that they would never have taken a tour like this because...well, we're local...and we're not tourists...so..Why?? Yikes! By the time we get to the first restaurant, it's, "We didn't know that! We had no idea that the World's Best Burger was one block off Peachtree Street!" Ah-h-h-h...the things my locals don't know!! :) OK, Jay! You now have been on my Midtown foodie adventure. Gotten the grand overview. Handed a map of restaurant locations that I recommend. And a sticker for free parking!! I'm going to be looking for you in my neighborhood!! Maybe with a group of friends.... leading your own Food Tour! That would be very cool.... :) My best! John

My husband and I went on this tour after being given it as a gift for Christmas. John surpassed all of our expectations and it was such a fun experience. My husband has lived in Georgia his whole life but we don't venture to Atlanta very often. We are super excited to now be able to have some great date nights in the future with the wealth of knowledge John shared with us. The food was amazing and we learned a lot about the history of the city. It was a great date day and I highly recommend to locals and tourists alike!

Absolutely the best gift...ever!! Well...it sure seemed that you and Mark had a terrific afternoon tasting, sipping, laughing...and relaxing. I know it's always nice to get a few hours away from your little ones and you two sure took advantage of your time together! Date nights! Date days! Bring the kids! Drag your friends into my Midtown neighborhood! You two got the grand overview...and a map...and a tip about FREE parking!! Lots of big grins as we said our goodbyes, me knowing full well that it won't be long before I run into you all on Peachtree Street. You and Mark will probably be doing your own Food Tour!! Don't be strangers! And tell Mark I won't be playing Pokemon Go any time soon!!! My best to you and your family! John
