Peach Tree Food Tour with John, was my first food tour. The tour was amazing because John was full of knowledge and has a fun energetic personality. The groups are not large which makes it more personable/intimate.I got the chance to taste large portions at the different places we visited.I had a lot of fun and John definitely set the bar high for future tours I hope to go on.

Yep! "Large portions at ...different places"!! And... "The groups are not large..." Thank you, Marie, for the wonderful review as it certainly touches on at least 2 reasons a Peachtree Food Tour is so much fun!! Wow! Lots of food! Getting to know other travelers! Sharing funny stories! All while out for a lovely afternoon stroll in Atlanta's restaurant heaven, my Midtown neighborhood. Put all of that together on your first Food Tour...and you'll start planning more foodie adventures wherever you travel!! As a matter of fact, everytime (!) you travel!!! Thanks again for sharing your thoughts for other TA readers! My best! John

We have been on food tours in several states, and this one is outstanding. John is a great tour guide; we learned a lot about the area and had some really great food. We were stuffed at the end of the tour, so we were happy to find out that the food at the last stop is a snack to eat later. That was one thing that made this tour unique, along with the large portions and the pictures he took of our group and emailed us the next day. We highly recommend this tour!

"One of the best..." Yikes! Thank you! We talked about the other food tours that you've been on and you've experienced a great variety. To you TA readers, Leigh and I agreed that there are a bunch of great foodie experiences out there and more travelers should sign up for any city's tasting adventures. Walk. Taste. Sip. Explore. And be sure to ask your guide all sorts of questions about his/her city. These are the 4 questions my sweet Jeri and I ask during every food tour we've been on: Other than those on the Tour, which restaurants do you recommend? Where can we experience a classic local breakfast? Can you suggest _________ boutique? Fill in the blank with leather...or silver...or purse...or whatever because we're not really interested in a mall. Which other Tours do you recommend? Note: The answers to those questions can often be invaluable IF you take a food tour the very first day possible in your visit. :) Thanks for the wonderful review...and for sharing your birthday with all of us! Lots of grins! Lots of bad singing! My best to you both! John

David, You two took my Tour on the 9th...and wrote your review on the 9th! Wow! Thank you! Here's hoping that the rest of your visit to Atlanta was full of more fun...and more food! The next time you're visiting, see if you can't stay in my neighborhood. I'll look for you all wandering around Peachtree Street with my funky illustrated map, checking out more of my suggestions. :) Thanks again for taking a few moments to write such a terrific review!! My best! John
