My boyfriend and I drove all the way from Virginia from 1AM so that we could arrive in Atlanta just in time for John's tour. We were quite sleepy and hungry from the 8-hour drive but we were welcomed, entertained, and fed very well by John's food tour. Between each food stop, John told stories of the city and when we sit down at a restaurant stop, he would tell stories of the dish we were about to taste. The experience was definitely worth the money! We strongly recommend this food tour if it's your first time in Atlanta because nothing beats being shown around by a local who can tell great stories.

Hi Anh! And L.!! Pretty unbelievable when you two pulled into my free parking lot after leaving Virginia at 1:00am! You were on time!! Yahoo! And then we all set off for some food and fun! Without a doubt, you two were among my sweetest guests, asking thoughtful questions, diving eagerly into every one of the "tastes and sips"! You brought great joy to the Tour...and never once did I see a yawn. But I did see lots of grins! I'm sorry that our attempts to get together that next day didn't work out...which means you will have to come back to Atlanta! I'll get the mysterious sweet Jeri to join us and we'll have a bite of dinner together. I would enjoy that! My best to you both! John

Having enjoyed food tours in cities we've lived previously (Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA), I thought my friend visiting from Texas would like to try one here in Atlanta. Guess what? No disappointment with John's tour offering. We learned so much about the city, and loved the selection of midtown eateries. Yet, I must call out the intimate and rich conversation that only John could create. No tweaks needed, he nailed it!

Thank You, S.!! "Intimate and rich conversation"!! is a terrific way to describe a large part of what I offer as my Food Tour experience. Great food! Clever alcohol pairings! But the story-telling is a huge part of the fun! Not that any of the tales I tell are true! Ha! The next time Ms. Texas, is in town, let's do this again...except we'll wander in a different direction so you all can try out some other restaurants...and I can try out some more tall tales! My best! John

John did a great job not only having us experience food, but also the culture of this vibrant Midtown area. The tour took us all around Midtown in approximately 4 hours. John made good stops throughout. He's well traveled, and we enjoyed his tales. Great stories, great food, great city!

S. - Thanks for taking a few moments to share your Tour experience! You actually may get the prize for "quickest" review to be posted! Your review popped up the very next morning...which means you must have written it on your way back to the hotel! Very cool!! I loved that you three grinned the entire time! You can't imagine how that is such a wonderful gift that you give to others and certainly makes for a fabulous Food Tour. Thank you! Please come back to Atlanta soon as you and T. could take over my Tour as my new "guides"! You two would be perfect...and I'd even pay you! Ha! When Jeri and I get to Tampa, I'll give you a buzz and we'll all go "Picnic at the Temple"! My best always! John
