After many attempts trying to convince my husband that this tour was the way to go, we decided at 10AM to book the tour for 11AM. John was very accommodating and treated us to an experience that was beyond what we both expected. Combining history and great foods is the way to go! We highly recommend this tour for fine foods in Midtown Atlanta.

Elvira, Yours is a perfect example of how "persistence" pays off! To the husbands out there....Give it up! You know your wife is right! :) And, like Elvira's husband John, you, too, will have a fabulous time!! You two were actually the latest call I've gotten on a Tour day...and it worked! There is a reason that all over my website site it says, "Just call me!" I am extremely user-friendly! My best to you both and, Elvira, thanks for taking a moment to share your experience. John

I planned this food tour as a surprise for my boyfriend. We both loved it. The food was great, the scenery was great, the history lesson was great, and John (the host) was great. Not only did we learn a lot about the city that we were raised in, we will now be regulars at the first stop. If the tour ever has new restaurants added, we would love to do it again!!

Hi Heather! First of all, the surprise was perfect! D. had no idea who I was, much less what you had gotten him into! I actually remember that initial conversation as pretty funny! I know I picked on him throughout the Tour...partly because you laughed each time...and partly because D. was such a terrific sport!! My local guests are always amazed at the continuing history of Peachtree Street, not only Mansion Row of the early 1900's, but what's happening today. Exciting stuff!! And...I gotta love that you are planning to return to Stop #1...and often! When they put the World's Best Burger in front of D., he should have leaned over to you, said "Thank You!", ....and kissed you!! Just sayin'.... :) My best to you both! John

My husband and I live in Midtown Atlanta but learned of Peachtree Food Tours and decided it would be a fun date. We both enjoyed the tour immensely and cannot recommend it highly enough to locals and visitors alike. Even though we live here and have taken several different Atlanta tours, John shared history and information about the city that we had never heard before. John was extremely interesting and informative. The food and drinks served on the tour were all delicious and offered an excellent variety. When you consider the length of the tour (4.5 hours for our tour) and the amount of food and drink served, the price of the tour is well worth it. We look forward to bringing our family on a future tour in the near future!

Hi JM!! Thanks for trying out my Midtown Food Tour! Not only are you and J. .locals, you actually only live blocks away from the heart of my adventure. Wow! The best part is when my neighbors spend the afternoon with me, have a blast...and then admit that the Tour actually had some tastes they hadn't tried before and stories that they hadn't heard before. Very cool!!! And...a special thanks for pointing out that the value is there. "...the price of the Tour is well worth it."...particularly when you realize that I'm not only a big lunch, but making dinner reservations is really not a good plan...and then there is that bag of treats that I send you home with...for breakfast???? Lots of food! Lots of fun! And even some clever alcohol pairings! I will keep an eye out for you two and with any luck I'll have my sweet Jeri with me!! Always fun to meet the character that shows up in so many of my stories! My best to you both! John
