My friend and I were in town for a conference this week and only had time to pick one fun thing to do in Atlanta while we were there. We absolutely picked the right thing! John is an amazing food tour guide. Not only did we eat amazing food and drinks all afternoon, we also received an entertaining history lesson in regard to Midtown Atlanta. Midtown is gorgeous! We were so happy with our choice! If I get the opportunity to go back to Atlanta, I would go on the tour again even if the food was exactly the same. I feel like John is an old friend now.

I couldn't agree more! If I was in Atlanta and only had time for one fun thing, I'm going on my Peachtree Food Tour too! Ha! Thank you, Lisa, for the terrific review! "Amazing food and drinks" and "entertaining history" ought to go onto all of my marketing because that's the goal. You and K. also were treated to a gorgeous Atlanta afternoon which makes any tour a pleasant day for a stroll. And, Yep!, my Midtown neighborhood is particularly beautiful in the Spring. I would love to have you back on a Tour! There just wasn't enough time to figure out which of my verbal sparring attempts was having any effect!! Ha!! Lots of food! And lots of fun! My best always! This tour was a great way to start a visit to Atlanta. Walk around the fun and funky neighborhood of midtown, visit some local restaurants while getting recommendations on others for the remainder of your trip, and get insights from a fun, engaging, and hospitable host! Highly recommend Peachtree Food Tours to anyone visiting Atlanta - foodie or not!

Hi Jessica! Thanks for the lovely review...and for reminding TA readers that a Food Tour is not only a great way to explore a neighborhood's dining treats but also an opportunity to get recommendations on other restaurants. Big city! Lots of choices! You're only a few hours away and now that you have my "new" map, don't be a stranger! Heck, you could actually bring some family/friends and put together your own tour. Go restaurant to restaurant. Eat and drink! Make up stories! How hard can that be? (That's actually my job description!) My best always! John

I would highly recommend a Peachtree food tour. We sampled food at 5 different restaurants and drinks at 3 of those. There was very nice variety in both the type of cuisine and the ambiance of the establishments chosen. We enjoyed all of them. Excellent value, as there was the added bonus of learning the history of Midtown and how it has evolved into to the restaurant destination it is today. John offers suggestions of other restaurants to try and follows up with an emailed recap of the day. John is very personable, he makes the history come alive, and he is a lot of fun. Zoom in to see the photo bomber in this pic. Hahaha! Thank you, John, for a great afternoon!

MTG! Thanks for taking a moment to send along your review! I wish the photo had downloaded because, Folks, it's really funny! The photo bomber looks like Munch's painting "The Scream"!!...except hidden in the background. Through all of our conversations and subsequent emails...and then running into you two the next day in my neighborhood (!), Atlanta sure seemed a fabulous 20th Anniversary destination! So glad to hear that you really enjoyed the other restaurants that I recommended. Who knew that a Food Tour Guide knew where to dine?! See you next anniversary?? Big city! Lots of choices! Maybe even an appearance by the mysterious sweet Jeri!!! My best to you both! John
