My girlfriends were in town to visit me for the first time so I really wanted to find a fun adventure for us to enjoy. Peachtree Food Tour was the perfect choice! John was amazing. He entertained us, as we strolled the Mid-Town area, with interesting history and stories of the area. The restaurants were all very different with delicious food served at each. I felt as if we were relaxing around our kitchen table as John shared with us some of his knowledge about the dishes we were enjoying. I was sad for the afternoon to be over and can't wait to bring more friends and family to escape to a carefree afternoon of delicious food and enjoyable conversation. I must add that John also sent us an extensive list of his and Jeri's recommendations for hotels, other restaurants, and things to do in the Atlanta area, which will be invaluable to me as a new resident of Atlanta!

MJ - I knew I was in for a terrific Tour as soon as you all got out of the car!! Every one of you had a funny comment...and then we were off for an afternoon foodie adventure! I was truly sad when it was over! But then I should have known that it wasn't over! TA readers: The next day, during my Food Tour on Peachtree Street, walking with my guests, I hear loud honking of a car horn, and even louder voices! Yep! It's my 4 ladies from yesterday, all hanging out of a car, shouting, "Hey John"! I stood there waving...and shouting back...as my tour group just laughed! MJ, Thanks for the wonderful review! As you now live near by, don't be a stranger. You ended up with a map of my neighborhood...and a parking pass! Yahoo! My best...to you and your "gang"! John

The tour was fantastic. I could detail every bit of it, instead I will leave that to the experience. What I can tell you is John is very hands on, you will be contacted before and after the trip. He is very personable and really knows how to tell a story. He was able to answer any of my questions, and I always ask the random ones. He has customized a great tour that gives you a taste of Midtown, but doesnt stop there. He provided us enough information for the rest of our trip. My advice, would be to do this tour as soon as you get to town. That way you can enjoy everyone of his suggestions. I am saving some for when I come back.

R. - First, Thanks! for holding off on the details as half the fun on the tour is not knowing what is next. A bit of mystery is good for the soul! Secondly, Thanks! for sharing with TA readers that there is more to what I do than just pull folks up and down Peachtree Street, eating, drinking, and laughing! My "Suggestions" attachment that goes out to all of my guests prior to the tour has been extremely well received!! Big city! Lots of choices! How about a local's perspective to narrow those choices! When you come back, be sure to shoot me a note so I can send you the most current issue! My best! John

My sister and I accompanied John on one of his food tours just yesterday and we had such a wonderful time. John makes you feel like you're kicking back in his living room gabbing with every step through midtown. The food and drinks were delicious, the stories were entertaining and the company was delightful. Thank you for a perfect first day in Atlanta!!

TA readers!! Did you read the last line in E's review? "Perfect first day" When my sweet wife and I travel, the first day is almost always on a Food Tour. We get a chance to try out a bunch of restaurants as well as chat up the guide with all kinds of questions about how to maximize our vacation dollars. Questions like, "Are there other restaurants you recommend? Other Tours you recommend? Day trips? Evening fun?" E. - You and your sister couldn't have picked a prettier day...and quite the group of characters! Do more food tours! There's a bunch of great ones out there! Thanks for taking a minute (or two!) to share your "wonderful time"! My best always! John
