I did a food tour in Los Olivos, Florida a couple of years ago that I still talk about. What took me so long to realize I travel enough that I should be doing a food tour in every city I visit!! Ugh for missed opportunities lol. Anyway I did a Yelp search for Atlanta and John and his Peachtree Tour popped up with great reviews! I decided this was the one. I had a bit of a hiccup with scheduling but he kindly opened up two more spots on a sold out Sunday. What a blast! The weather was cooperative and we met some nice people on our tour and ate some really fabulous food! I loved that this tour paired alcohol with the food. Now I'm going to be disappointed when others don't! John was friendly, informative, laid back and full of great stories and education along the walk. I really only have positive things to say. Just a really fun day that I've already recommended to my friends who travel! Thank you John!

Yep! "What a blast!" Thanks, DBD, for taking the time to write a great review! First, I'm hoping that for you there will be no more lost opportunities! Trust your TA reviewers and go for it! Second, I can be a push-over to requests from my guests who battle work schedules and delayed flights! Third, I'll take credit for the fabulous food (and some booze!) but if I was to claim that I was responsible for the nice people in your group...nor arranging for the lovely weather...well...I like to make up stories but that's even a push for me. :) I certainly appreciate you spreading the word near and far! My best! John

This was my first food tour. I had no idea a food tour could be so much fun. Our guide/owner John did an awesome job educating our group on a lot of Atlanta’s interesting history. BUT most of all knows how to pick exceptional food and drink adventures. This tour was so enjoyable I will definitely be adding “food tours” to my future travel to do list. Once word of advice…Take you food tour early in your trip!!! John’s tour and recommendations opened us up to a whole other level of dining options in Atlanta unfortunately we were leaving the next day. Thanks John for a great experience and a new drink favorite!!

Thanks, TMT! Great advice, "Take your food tour early in your trip!!" It's a great way to learn first-hand about a neighborhood's dining options and in Midtown, that # is 60+ choices! Yep! 60+ restaurants! It's my job to treat my guests to some of the best as well as tease them with what else is out there! Plus Midtown is not just food. How about some fun...and that's my other job! I'm all about "Eat" and "Play" so, TA readers, join me the first chance you get. Several of my guests come directly from the airport! Really! My money is on you, TMT, taking more food tours...and soon! My best! John

What a great experience! My wife and I had no idea a food tour could be this enjoyable. This was our first tour and now at the top of our “to-list” visiting any city. John does an excellent job incorporating Atlanta (Midtown) history with a casual walking tour in between each well thought out food stop. This is truly a great way to experience Atlanta and it’s many dining offerings. John follows up with an email to recap the tour and is thoughtful to provide other area restaurants he recommends in the greater Atlanta area. Fantastic tour for anyone…local or just visiting!

Wow! Thanks, D.!! Yours is the perfect review for TA readers who have no idea what a Food Tour is...which is about 70% of my guests. (Yikes!) Tough to encourage folks to join in on the food and fun...when they have no idea what they can expect. :) So...a bunch of friends got together to celebrate your birthday (Yahoo!) with food, booze, stories, and a bit of really bad singing...all while strolling through my Midtown neighborhood. The best part for me was how the other guests on the Tour, who had never met you before, all joined in for the 4+ hours of fun! Me? I had a blast! One final note.... You couldn't find a better friend than D.!! Pass along a Thanks to him for inviting you to enjoy a day on Peachtree Street! Take more Food Tours! My best! John
