John was an excellent host and wonderful guide for our introduction to Midtown Atlanta. Our dining selections were excellent. I had one of the most fantastic Fish and Chips since our visit to Ireland several years ago. As a guide, John had some fantastic stories about Midtown and shared many personal experiences about his world travels and food adventures... Especially about his journey to Camino del Santiago and his recent visit to Mexico City and how the food and experience related to Atlanta's emerging food scene. I would highly recommend this tour if you wand local flavor from both your food and conversation!

TA Readers: Steve and his partner had a custom tour where anything is possible! Fish and chips! Some hard cider! Yep! When you join my sweet Jeri and I for an evening walk-about in our neighborhood the food is fun! The drinks are just lovely! And the conversation just flows! Travelers love to hear about Atlanta AND the world and where to go, so... in 2015...Mexico City? A+ My Camino pilgrim experience in Spain, 125 miles in 8 days?? A++ And this years plans???? Traveling is a lot about making new friends, sharing adventures, and relaxing into the local neighborhood. A custom Peachtree Food Tour is simply making little dreams come true...and building more! Thanks, Steve!! Reviews are a way to share adventures! Job well done!!

Thank You, Penny!! It was cold (!) but thank goodness my sweet Jeri showed up with heavy shawls and gloves. One real advantage of having the Food Tour in my neighborhood is that both Jeri and I can react to weather needs...and then everyone is happy! You guys were troopers and the birthday boy had a grand time! Thanks for sharing your experience with TA readers...and your friends! Here's hoping that you told your friends to not believe all of my stories! :) My best to you and your family! And a shout out to J. for providing the tickets as a gift!!

This tour had it all: history, highlights of things soon to be built in the area, and, of course food! John is one of the best guides I've ever encountered - you really do feel you've made a friend by the end of the afternoon. While the food is all top notch, this tour is about much more than flavors. John manages to tie the restaurants and dishes together to the past, present, and future of the area. Highly entertaining and a terrific value!

Thank You, FG!! Ha! My sweet Jeri was reading your review and just rolled her eyes! "Highly entertaining" isn't quite how she'd describe me! At home, at least! But...put me on Peachtree Street with some out-of-town folks and who knows what stories I'll make up! The above review is actually a wonderful account of the experience guests can anticipate while we stroll through my neighborhood. Just me...pointing and talking. You listening...then eating and drinking! What fun we all had! I trust that you had such a wonderful time in Atlanta that you'll be returning soon! Big city! Lots of choices! And I can help! It's what I do! My best! John
