Dear TA readers, This review was written by a Captain in the US Army. Brief! Concise! To the point! And...if I might add, spot on!! :) Thanks, Jake! What a wonderful afternoon the three of us had on Peachtree Street! The next time you're in Atlanta, let's do this again! How about some tastes and sips in Buckhead?! Coming this Spring!! And, I certainly speak for all of my readers....Thanks for your service! My best to you and the lovely Miss B.!! John

I think this attraction should be called "John and the Peachtree Food Tour" because the host and guide is as an essential an ingredient as the food. John responded literally within a minute of my initial email inquiry and his hospitality, charm, and genuine care never wavered. The copious food on the tour is terrific with just the right blend of amazing and quirky to give you a sense of adventure and discovery. An added bonus is all the other tips and restaurant recommendations you gather while on the tour. Perfect for visitors to Atlanta but wonderful for near-locals like me who are looking for new things to try. Highly recommend this tour. It will be one of the happiest days of your life! Good to know: Vegetarians are not only accommodated, but have equally delicious options. Walking distance is about 6000 steps.

T. - Thanks for the great review...and for pointing out a couple of things that TA readers should know. I just recently re-engineered the Tour and one of the bonuses is that I can now easily accommodate my vegetarian friends!! A little different spin here and there but same fun! And...6000 steps!! Who knew?? The Tour is now a bit under 2 miles of a gentle stroll...but I'm too busy to count steps!! (I know! I know! You have a FitBit!!) Also, Thanks for the "customer service" shout out as I have to give most of the credit to my 4+ years with the Atlanta Braves. Their hiring practices made certain that you were always surrounded by other staff that were on customer service steroids! That sense of "how can I exceed your expectations?!" was infectious!! My best to you and yours! John

I am a very picky eater but I felt that the food on this tour was adventurous but not too crazy! I was happy that there was a lot of things that I wanted to try. John made the tour exciting and fun! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Atlanta. I would do the food tour right when you get there so you know where to eat for the remainder of your trip!

B. - You were initially hesitant about trying some of the "tastes" but something clicked...and then you were into having a great time! Thanks for writing a review...and for being such a good sport! And...TA readers! B.'s advice to take a Food Tour as early in your visit to any city is spot on!! Quickly learn a new neighborhood and what's available but, even more importantly, learn more about your travel destination. Your guide is there to recommend other dining options, where to go for fun, what's the "latest" in shopping, and on and on. A local's perspective can be invaluable as a way to maximize your travel dollar! Thanks again, B., for taking a moment to share with other TA readers! My best to you! John
