A very interesting and enjoyable walking food tour in Mid Town Atlanta. A great overview of food, culture and lifestyles in the evolving Mid Town area of Atlanta. Definitely recommend good walking shoes, not an endurance walk but a variety of places and Architecture to see. Camera's a definite take along item. Excellent food and beverage selections on the tour as well as very good service by all restaurants visited. John did a wonderful job of relating to each participant and allowing time for all to interact and get questions answered. Feel like I have a contact in Atlanta that I can count on for questions related to current or future visits. I Highly Recommend John.

Gretchen! Thanks for taking the time to post a review! To you TA readers, the "comfortable shoes" comment is so true. Over four hours we walk about 2 miles so casual clothes...but really comfortable shoes will serve you well. I limit my Tours to 8...maybe 10 if I get a call at the last minute...and there's a "Please! Please!!" Seems to be a lot of "Last Minute" sales lately...so I'm ready! And...again...take a Food Tour as soon as you can when you get to a new city!! Lots of great restaurant info...and city info, too! My best to you both! John

John is an amazing guide - he truly knows how to make it an experience for everyone. I will most definitely be recommending John in the future to anyone interested in taking a food tour in Atlanta! Oh yeah, did I mention the food was absolutely amazing?! I will be a repeat visitor to the places he showed us!

David - I was watching as you introduced yourself to the corporate group (special outing!) and apologizing that M. was not able to join the adventure. Big art project! Miles away! So you were left with texting photos of food and fun! Thankfully you showed up much later at home with a bag of goodies from the "shopping" experience....well...unless you ate them on the way!! Just sayin'... Thanks for the wonderful review! Let's do this again! With sweet Ms. M.!!! My best to you both! John

N. - Thanks for taking a moment out of what I'm sure is a busy, busy day for you! I'm thinking that when your hubby comes to town you should be able to give him a Food Tour of your own. :) My suggestion for a nice dinner a bit away from my neighborhood is Canoe! On the banks of the Chattahoochee River, quite romantic on a Fall evening, and the food is always stellar! However, if you end up strolling, people watching, and dining in my 'hood, give me a holler and Jeri and I will join you for a drink! My best! John
