John made the whole experience really entertaining and informative. As Atlantans we still learned new facts about the Midtown area. The tour introduced us to restaurants that we had not experienced before but will definitely return to. John is a fun host and knows his facts about the area. It was a great experience and we will recommend this tour to all our friends. John, thanks for a fun afternoon!

Thank you, J.!! As one of my "locals", it's always a treat to hear that "we still learned new facts"! My Midtown, particularly Peachtree Street, has a rich history and mixing the "new" with the "old" always seems to bring my neighborhood into a wonderfully, fun perspective!! Oh Yeah! Come see me again! December has "Night Tours" that are a lot of fun! Some different food! Same fun! And lots of stories that I make up on the spot!! Really!! :) My best! John

This was my first time doing a food tour and it was definitely a fun and amazing experience! We did the food tour the first day we got in Atlanta and it was a wise idea. John was full of stories about the neighborhood. My friends and I received a lot of helpful tips about activities and restaurants to check out, in addition to the amazing food stops. We came in with empty stomachs and at the end of the tour we were all full! The food just got better and better at each food stop. John was very friendly and fun and I truly enjoyed listening to his stories about his family and his town. He took the time to connect with everyone in our group. Even after the tour, John stayed in touch and answered any questions we had. I will definitely recommend Peachtree Food Tours to my friends who will be visiting Atlanta and for sure I will do another tour with John when I come back in Atlanta. Thank you, John, for the memorable and amazing food tour experience.

Hey JE! - I love where I live...right on Peachtree Street..and sharing my little piece of heaven is a blast! You are in the South so part of the "hospitality" piece is that I would never send you home hungry! How about I send you home with food!! Cool... Thank you for including in your review that I actually have lots of suggestions for more food and fun! Big city! Lots of choices! And my guests call/text me all the time with questions! It's what I do! Atlanta is a beautiful city and you should enjoy what it does best!! Thanks again! John

Eating out in new places and trying local dishes is one of our favourite things to do when travelling - but we didn't really know what to expect from a food tour. It definitely didn't disappoint. Our tour guide John set up Peachtree Food Tours just over a year ago and his passion for his city (and for good food!) really shone through. It was great to learn about the history of Midtown Atlanta while experiencing fantastic food and drink at local resturants that I doubt we would have discovered ourselves. Portion sizes were just right - we didn't feel like we were given so much that we couldn't appreciate the food at the later stops, but we certainly weren't short-changed either. One regret was that we didn't book this tour at the start of our stay in Atlanta as John gave us so many recommendations (and tips on where to avoid) that it would have been much easier to plan eating out - especially in the fairly limited Downtown area. Book for early on in your trip if you can. Big thank you to John for being so generous with sharing his extensive knowledge for areas in Atlanta and beyond - and for making the tour so entertaining and informative from beginning to end.

Hey B. - More and more of my UK visitors wish they had signed up for my Food Tour as soon as they arrived in Atlanta! I have lots of suggestions and thoughts and opinions...and stories...about what's fun to do...and eat in Atlanta. And then you asked me about Austin, Texas, the next stop on your USA holiday!! I love Austin and was happy to send you more thoughts on what to do!! My sweet Jeri and I are there a couple of times a year...and it's a huge favorite of ours!! My best to you both! Thanks for the wonderful review!! John
