It has been a weekend of ‘firsts’ for me: first time in Atlanta, first time trying Airbnb, first time being a lonesome tourist, first time I’ve used Uber (very necessary in this city!) and my first food tour. And l think on all accounts I’ve been successful and enjoyed the new experiences! I was on my own in Atlanta on a Sunday (before business meetings in the week) trying to figure out how to fill my day and I’m SO glad I found this tour via Trip Advisor. John is a really friendly and knowledgeable host and despite some appalling weather half way through the tour he (with help from his lovely wife!) managed to keep us dry(ish) and on track. John has picked a really great selection of restaurants to try a variety of food and drink and as a Brit it was really good to sample some Southern-style cooking and I especially enjoyed my first tasting of fried green tomato and shrimps with grits. The accompanying drinks along the way were great too – who knew that bourbon + coke + nuts could be so good?!

J. - Such dreadful weather to begin the Tour! Thankfully my incredible wife came to the rescue with a car ride to the World's Best Burger and the adventure was on! And then all of the Southern dining firsts! What fun! And such a wonderful group! For you solo travelers, please don't hesitate to jump right in for the Midtown Food Tour experience! At the end of the afternoon, Jane had made 7 new friends! It's the South! We want you in our family! Thank you, Jane, for taking a moment to write your sweet review! You'll be back! I'll be here!

I was traveling through Atlanta by myself. I am always looking for new ways to see an area, and learn about it's culture. TripAdvisor has become an invaluable tool. I have to admit, I have never done a food tour. However, I noticed the high ratings given to Peachtree Food Tours. Hands down, this was an amazing tour! John is very knowledgeable about the history of Midtown. Not only did I receive a great history lesson, but the food was delicious!! So fun! I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was well worth the money!

L. - I know that you had to juggle your schedule of cross-country travel to make this adventure work and for that I am thankful. How else were you going to learn what fun (!) a food tour is?! Lots of food! Lots of fun! I'm thinking that there will be more food tours in your future! There's got to be one somewhere in Alaska! If not, keep on traveling and trusting your TripAdvisor friends! Thanks for taking the time to review your adventure in Midtown Atlanta!

My husband and I truly had a wonderful time. We were in Atlanta celebrating our anniversary and decided to do something we have never done...a food tour. I won't give away any of the stops but just know you will not be disappointed. John (the tour guide) is a very special guy with a love of food and story telling. Our recommendation.....go ahead and book it NOW and in the beginning of your stay!

Lady J. - I still smile when I think of the photo I took of L. and the World's Best Burger! He absolutely looks like a mischievous 15 year old! It was a great group on a fabulous Atlanta afternoon....not to mention a wonderful way to celebrate your anniversary! Lots of food and fun....and....a sweet, sweet way to end the Tour! Come back to my neighborhood soon! So much more to do...and see...and then there's all those restaurants! My best to you both!
