My husband and I went on this tour on Mother's Day 2015. It was AMAZING. I'm so happy we did it. John was so warm and welcoming. I learned a lot about the city and its history. The food as to die for. So much food!!! And drinks!!! Definitely worth the money. Just remember to wear comfortable shoes. No steep hills or upstairs restaurants, so it's wheelchair friendly.

L. - What a grand time we all had! You and your husband were all about the adventure of your very first Food Tour. "Where are we going? What's next? Oh, Wow! OMG!" You two were fabulous guests to watch as the food just kept coming! Thanks for taking the time to write a review! When you come back to Atlanta, let's do this again! A sweet discount for repeat guests...and I'll change up the "tastes" a bit. Different food! Same fun! My best to you both!

Tours are such a great way to learn about a place especially on short trips. I was looking for a tour of Atlanta for a recent getaway and found Peachtree Food Tours here on Trip Advisor, so thank you so much to all of you who steered me in the right direction! John, the proprietor and guide is every bit the gracious southern gentleman. He also has a gift in the way he presents information, engaging people and bringing them together. You start out as a group of strangers and find yourself hugging goodbye at the end of the day. As you wind your way down Peachtree Street you learn some history, a little about the real estate, the best spot to watch the sun set with a cup of coffee, restaurant recommendations and so much more! The food, drinks and dessert were amazing! I was happily surprised, because I would never walk into a restaurant and make any of those selections on my own, but I enjoyed each one thoroughly. This was the highlight of my trip and I plan to do it again!

TA readers, C.'s review is not only a truly wonderful description of my Food Tour but includes an important note about TripAdvisor. C. gives a shout out to all of the "reviewers" whose comments helped her make the decision to try Peachtree Food Tours. Travelers trust TA. Pure and simple. Thank you, C.!! Great review! And what a great way to return the favor to other TA readers. I see more Food Tours in your future and let your friends at TA be your guide! (Of course, you can always join me again! I'll figure out different food....but same fun!)

John, the guide, is very warm and welcoming. The tour provided a good mix of history along with good food and drink. We found a new go to spot for dinner thanks to him, and he offers a lot of good dining advice in Midtown and the Atlanta area. This is definitely a good tour to check out if you are just visiting for a few days and want to get a feel for great Midtown dining options, or if you are from the area and want to expand your horizons and try something new. He goes the extra mile to make his clients happy, and kept it very entertaining along the way. Would definitely do it again.

A. - I still laugh at how your birthday surprise (A Food Tour!) unfolded for your wife! "How does that guy (me) know us? Who are those other people and why do they look like they're waiting for us?" S. certainly was a great sport and I love the photo of her grin as the birthday candles magically appeared at the dessert stop! And...you two were in the perfect group for a Saturday Midtown adventure. Lots of food! Lots of fun! Lots of wonderful birthday memories! Grab a bunch of "locals" and let's see how I can craft some sort of group rate! I'll change up the route so there will be some new "tastes and sips". Different food! Same fun!
