John made the tour so enjoyable with his knowledge of the midtown eateries and history, we forgot that it was a rainy day. He is well know in the midtown area. This tour is worth the time. When we return we may even investigate some of the other tours that he is developing. Thanks John.

Hey Houston! Every day is a great day for a Peachtree Food Tour! Thanks for the sweet review...and thanks for the texts of food later in your Atlanta stay. "Hey, John! Guess which restaurant I'm in!" (Ha!) I think that South City Kitchen was on your to-do list but I saw you paying attention to Why-I-Go-There! It's not on the Tour but a must when anyone is in Atlanta. When you're back in my neighborhood, give me a holler! Let's go try some more "tastes and sips"!

I had the pleasure of experiencing this tour with some colleagues of mine and was introduced to some great eateries, food, and some extra poundage. John is great guy and I'm happy I had the chance to meet him, hear a bit of his life's journey, and get insight of Atlanta/Midtown history. I would recommend this tour to everyone I know as it time well spent and an unforgettable experience.

O. - Thanks for taking a moment to send along a review! Yep! There was a LOT of food so I certainly get the "poundage" comment. There's nothing quite like being on the "test" tour, all of us trying to figure out what works (and doesn't work) for my new Awesome Outdoor Dining Tour. M. and K. of your group each sent me a rather comprehensive list of comments and suggestions, all well meaning and most spot on! I enjoyed all of the guys that make up the "team" and had to laugh as everyone seemed very comfortable taking jabs at anyone...and everyone! I'm thinking that the Food Tour was a great treat for some early afternoon fun! Get a bunch of your friends and family together so we can do this again. Try the Classic Tour next time! Sweet, sweet discounts for repeat guests!

My 15 year and I went on the tour- What a great way to spend a day in Atlanta. It rain and we still had a great time. The food was great- enjoyed everything. We did eat some things I would not have picked on a menu. But I tried it all and enjoyed it. My 15 year had more than enough to eat. He liked everything too! John was great! He made it fun and shared history about Atlanta. You cant ask for more! All my friends thought it was great we did this! Go on the Tour you will not regret it!

Hey 2wildboysmom! It started raining early and I thought we were in for a wet, wet Tour but as soon as I got that incredible burger into your 15 year old, the sun came out! Wow! That whole afternoon was a wonderful way for you two to spend quality time together. And I'm thinking that the Tour was a better choice for the older son, plus he could take my gentle needling! What a pleasant surprise to run into the whole family the very next day, dining on that same menu item, the World's Best Burger! Here's hoping that you end up in Atlanta again, coming to or from the Masters, so we can do this again! Thanks for the great review!
