John did a wonderful job of setting up and executing this tour. He was informative and enthusiastic throughout the tour. I learned a lot about the area of the city and felt like we provided a great representative sample. In addition to the two of us from out of town, we brought my sister who had recently moved to the area which turned out to be a great learning experience for her on the neighborhood. We have not done any similar tours in the past, but based on this experience, we will have to try more in the future. I hope they can stack up as John set the bar very high!

Ryan, Thanks for the great review! Fortunately the afternoon went a whole lot better than the morning, my phone call waking you up after you had gotten into Atlanta late the evening before. You were very kind not to growl at me! You and M. were having a grand time plus what a bonus to watch your sister, W., taking it all in. I was showing her around her new city and she was soaking it all in. I think that it helped that she had spent some time in my neighborhood prior to the Tour so she could have at least a couple of points of reference. A Food Tour is always a wonderful way to spend quality time with family! My best to you both! I'll keep an eye out for W. in Midtown!

My husband and 20-something kids and I took this tour together. We've done quite a lot of food tours and this is one of the best we've been on. John is a really great guide, tailoring the pace and the discussion to the group at hand. The food was amazing and plentiful-- we visited some old standards together with places that I wouldn't have known about but will definitely go back. I definitely recommend this tour-- definitely well worth the time and money!

L. - A grand time was had by all on a pretty Atlanta afternoon! All food and fun aside, I lost track of the street for the haircut opportunity because I was so absorbed in our conversation. Your "business" comments and thoughts were well timed....and I was all ears. I'm sure you and your husband sensed that I very much want Peachtree Food Tours to be successful. Every Tour needs to be a blast for everyone.....including me! By doing fewer Tours, we all win! When your favorite Tour Guide is happy, that joy becomes a gift easily given to those folks around him. Folks just like you! Best wishes! The next time you all are back in Atlanta, let's try my new "Awesome Outdoor Dining" Tour! Sweet, sweet discounts for returning guests!

Excellent food tour. John, the tour guide, is outgoing and personable. He only takes out small groups, it was nice to have personalized attention. Pleased with the range of traditional, modern, and unique food. Added bonus, John also provides a narrative tour during the walk to different locations. The conversation ranges from historical and governmental landmarks to other surrounding restaurants that he recommends but didn't make the elite cut of the tour. Very handy for those planning to spend more time in Midtown. Portion sizes were exactly right to get the experience of the food while leaving room for the next stop.

Christi, Thanks for taking the time to write a review of my little adventure on Peachtree Street. Lot's of smiles all around....not to mention lots of food! I had to smile when you girls were giving your Dad a hard time! Good natured ribbing among family members speaks volumes and it was nice to be in the middle of that. Best wishes to you where ever you end up! Some folks are thinking Iowa should be in your future but then again, I'm a Dad, too! I'd be saying the same thing! Best wishes! Families like yours make a Peachtree Food Tour an afternoon well spent!
