I am an Atlanta native and I am always looking for new and fun things things to do in our lovely city. This past week I had the pleasure of taking the new Peachtree Food Tour, "Decks and Patios!" To my surprise the tour highlighted restaurants that I have never been to. They were all different and I am excited that I have found new places to eat to in Atlanta. This is a great tour for locals and visitors alike. The tour guide John was so pleasant and knowledgeable of the city. Put this tour on your "must do" list!

Laura, I had to grin at your review! My favorite comment from "locals" is "I didn't know that!" Be sure to get back down to Midtown soon. I know you were anxious to show off your new restaurant finds! The new Tour has been renamed "Awesome Outdoor Dining" and is still on hold pending final menu selections....and the addition of a restaurant that is so new that it's not even open yet. It has a gorgeous patio and lots of tempting choices on their menu! The first "official" Tour is coming soon!!

John runs the tour and is a really down-to-earth and friendly guy - not to mention knowledgeable about Atlanta history and meticulous about his venues. The food was good and so were the fellow attendees. Definitely worthwhile - I'd recommend this tour to anyone interested in getting a taste of Atlanta or learning more about its history.

Luke, It was nice to "finally" get you and L. on the Food Tour! I only wish that the photo that I sent you of L. wasn't a bit out of focus. Nice shot of her enjoying her substitute for the World's Best Burger....which made her my first guest (ever!) to try a Sublime Chick. I saw lots of smiles and heard lots of laughs, all part of a Tour when there's such a nice blending of folks! Thanks for the review (!) and as soon as I launch the second Food Tour, I'll send you a note. You two are perfect for the "Outdoor Dining Adventure" and repeat customers get a sweet, sweet discount!!

All of the food was great, and the historical info on Atlanta was a bonus. The restaurants we visited were all very accommodating of our group. John is a friendly, knowledgeable guide. I definitely recommend this tour for locals and tourists alike!

M. - Thank you! The weather was fabulous, the food and drinks were spot-on, and the group was such great fun! Four guys (truly gentlemen!) from Denmark and you four gal-friends from Atlanta were such a wonderful blend! Time flew by! Smiles were everywhere! Here's hoping that the surprise "shopping" was a nice treat Sunday morning! :) My best to you!
