Sarah was a great tour guide and we had a good time on the food and history tour. We got to taste some dishes and try some restaurants that I would not have known about (and will go back to now). I think it would have been more interesting to have been set up as a 'progressive' tour, for example, starting with an appertif, then an appetizer, then starter (soup or salad), entree, and dessert.

I found this tour while looking for a low-stress way to show a friend the city before she moved away. Even though I lived in Midtown for 5+ years, I get a little stressed at the idea of showing someone the sights -- are the places I remember still current, where do we park, is that area safe these days, would the food be cliche'd tourist traps or genuinely innovative? The tour made all that so easy and the food was excellent! Sarah was an excellent host, and everything was worked out for us - parking was easy, the restaurants were expecting us, food was expedient and creative, and walking distances were moderate but welcome as we indulged at each stop. The food and drink was excellent and the tour guide and tourists were all very engaging company. A lovely tour for both locals and visitors alike.
