John's food tour offers so much more than food. . .food (of course), history, funny stories, drinks, and an easy paced walk through Midtown ATL. Though we have lived the majority of our lives near Atlanta, we have never explored the Midtown area like we did today. So many amazing restaurants are within easy walking distance of each other. The Midtown area offers a neat vibe, and John certainly knows and is proud of his community. He has created the perfect walking food tour, and kept us engaged throughout the experience. We are now armed with a list of restaurants we can't wait to try. Plus, we've learned some interesting facts about, not just Midtown, but Atlanta! Thanks for a great morning, John!

Food...history...funny stories...drinks...all while walking in my Midtown neighborhood! What's not to like about this foodie adventure??!! Thank you, Gail, for sharing all of the fun things...and that I'm extremely proud of my neighborhood! My wife and I live on Peachtree, we dine at 40+ restaurants on Peachtree, we go to 4 options of live theater on Peachtree, and, needless to say, we love our little bit of Atlanta! And, as Gail writes, "We are now armed with a list of restaurants we can't wait to try." Get travel-smart quickly!! Take a Food Tour the first opportunity you can in any large city! Don't waste good money...on bad food! My best! John

The food on this tour was incredible! We tried some things that I probably wouldn’t have otherwise tried, and now I’m ready to go back and get full-size portions! Although the portions we had were very good sized, and I was stuffed by the end of the tour. The alcohol pairings were great as well. John was an amazing guide, and gave thorough and personalized information throughout. He made dietary accommodations very easily (and the substituted-in food was delicious too), and pointed out restaurants for us to try our later! This was easily my favorite part of our trip to Atlanta.... Thanks again John, we’ll be recommending you to everyone we know who makes a trip to the ATL!

Dear TA readers: Stephanie points out that when my guests have allergies or dietary restrictions, they don't miss out on any of the fun. "... and the substituted-in food was delicious too." All I need is a bit of advance notice and my restaurants will roll out a terrific Plan B. It's really that easy! Thank you, Stephanie, for the lovely review and for giving my Tour a shout out to other folks who plan to visit Atlanta. Please remind everyone that a food tour makes even more sense if you take it the first possible day. Get up to speed on the dining opportunities 'cause there's no reason to spend good money on bad food! My best! John
