This was such a fun experience. I went with my mother and sister and 2 others were on the tour with us. I loved the idea of a small group. We got to know each other and we were able to ask a lot of questions. John was very organized. The day before the tour he called and Reminded us to come hungry and dress for the chilly weather. When we arrived he knew our names and asked a bit about us. The food was delicious. Not only did he teach us about the places we ate but many other places around midtown. He knows a lot and was willing to answer questions. We ended up going back to one of the restaurants for dinner because it was so good. He even took pictures for us on the tour. He knows a lot about different places and is always willing to share his advice. My biggest regret is not going on the tour earlier during our trip. He gave us so many ideas and we had to leave the next day.

"Fun experience"!! It's not just the history...nor the food...but more importantly the "fun"!! All of my tours are "small groups" so I can connect before the adventure via phone, giving us a chance to chat. Are you new to Atlanta? Special occasion? Diet restrictions? Did you look at the weather? And then there are the photos I take during my food tour which I send to my guests...reminding them of all the food...and all of the fun!! But...per Ms S., be sure to take my tour as early into your visit as possible. Learn how to spend good money on great food!! Thank you, Ms. S.!! John

My 17 year old daughter and I were on a college visit tour and decided to try this on our free day. John was absolutely charming and made my daughter feel comfortable. The small group atmosphere was perfect for walking and hearing the history of midtown. John's knowledge and passion for his city comes through and was a true pleasure to listen to. On top of that we were able to try absolutely delicious foods from 5 different restaurants. I would highly recommend and will do again with my other family members when we are back in Atlanta! This is one activity not to miss!

Ah-h-h-h... Teenagers on my tour. Yahoo!! Lots of fun as I raised three boys and they were certainly, at one time, all in their teens. I can talk "teen talk" as well as respect the place they are in their lives...which can lead to some really interesting (funny) conversations. TA readers should note that I am " small groups" (8 max) and that Ms. R is spot on about the walking...and the history...and the "delicious food"!! Thank you, Ms. R. !! My best! John

This is more than just a food tour, you get a thorough history and current status of Midtown Atlanta while enjoying a great selection of restaurants. Not just for out-of-towners, residents should check it out and then come back to Midtown (again and again). Thanks John for a wonderful experience and lots of laughs.

"Lots of laughs." Yep! The fun is in the food...and then the laughs! And...when I have a tour which is "family", it's a bit of fun to pick on one of you. Kellee, You were a great sport as I zeroed in on you. Lots of grins there...at least from your siblings!! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! My best! John
