This was a great afternoon learning about our new neighborhood. John took us to some familiar favorite restaurants and introduced us to many new ones sampling terrific food and drink along the way. We learned so much of the history of midtown and will be able to share these highlights with our future guests. Love walking food tours...have taken many and this one does not disappoint. Thank you John!

Thank you, Kerri, for letting folks know that I'm a great idea when you move into my Midtown neighborhood. Lots of food...and drinks...and laughs.all while learning about the rich history of "our" part of Peachtree Street. You can start acting like a "local" very quickly! I'll keep my eye out for you two as we all try out some of the new dining options. Cooking at home is so over-rated. Ha! My best! John

It took me a while to write this review but I am finally here. I have done a dozen food tours and this tour was my favorite. My partner and I fell in love with John. We found him to be an absolute peach. He was friendly, personable, full of knowledge and lots of fun. He introduced us to many great places to eat and taught us so much about the history of the area. The restaurants served us food and cocktails. I am not sure which part I was more excited about because the food and the cocktails were both pretty amazing. I think my favorite thing was the burger we ate on the delicious surprise bun. I also thoroughly enjoyed our dessert finale. There are a few things that separate John's company from my other food tour experiences that I need to point out. This tour is the only tour that I have been on where we got to go shopping for snacks to take home afterwards. John also takes photos throughout the tour and sends them in a personal follow up email a couple days later. Those special touches really separate Peachtree Food Tours from the rest. I would totally take his tour again. As a final note. I was in town in February. We reached out to John for dining advice. He was happy to offer his expertise. We followed his suggestion and had the best happy hour experience. The food was awesome and a random man paid our entire bill. John really knows what he is talking about when it comes to food. There is a reason why his tour ranks so high on all the sites. Thanks John!

I like it when my guests fall in love with me. (Grin!) But....Let's remember that I talk (a lot!!) about my wife, Sweet Jeri, throughout the tour. We have lived in our Midtown neighborhood for over 20 years....and wouldn't live anywhere else in the world! But..I still flirt! Ha!! Thank you, Kristin, for the terrific review! The next time you two come to Atlanta, let's get together...and eat and laugh some more!! My best! John

We received a gift certificate for the half day food tour which we used in January. I didn't think this would be the best time of year to do a walking tour - especially for half a day! Was I surprised. Despite the weather, we had a great, great time! I thought this would be simply a walk from restaurant to restaurant and sampling mini portions. Wrong. This was a friendly neighborhood stroll, history lesson, and great food & drink experience all rolled into one delightful day. I'm now 'turned on' to food tours though I don't expect anyone could live up to the experience provided by John.

Well...Ms. Mtn! You wouldn't be the first guest that had no idea what lay ahead on my little foodie adventure. Oh-h-h-h...and the surprises!! All of which end up into a "great food and drink experience all rolled into one delightful day." I couldn't describe it better than that. I see more food tours in your future! There's a bunch of terrific ones out there! Thanks for taking the time to share with other TA readers! My best! John
