I surprised my husband, who is a bit of a foodie, with this tour for Father's Day weekend. We both loved it! John did a great job coordinating the walking tour with a variety of restaurant stops. We never had to wait very long to get our food & drinks. There was a good variety of food along the tour, and the portions were very generous, much larger than the usual tasting size. In addition to finding some great new restaurants, John was very knowledgeable about local history. The combination of food and stories made for an entertaining afternoon.

At least twice before any tour I remind my guests to dress comfortably...and come hungry! I even go so far as recommending a VERY light breakfast. Thank you, Angela, for sharing with TA readers that "the portions were very generous, much larger than the tasting size." Yep! I'm a lot of food, all quite different..but everything is yummy, yummy! We walk and eat and drink and I tell stories...and then we repeat those 4 steps! For sure, my guests, like Angela and her husband, are finding that food tours are perfectly made for an entertaining afternoon. And.... On my tour I actually send you home with more food, all in a pretty pink bag! Something to enjoy later...that you get to select! Yikes! So many choices! So much fun! My best to you both! John

Hello Robert! Thanks for taking a moment to send along your thoughts about my idea of a "foodie" adventure. Lots of food! Lots of fun! (Some booze!) Lots of stories I share but discourage any fact checking! I love what I do and actually hope that I'm more of a "host" in my Midtown neighborhood as opposed to being a guide. Take more Food Tours! There's a bunch of great ones out there! My best! John

My husband and I were talking about things to do. He remembered that he had met John three years ago and said lets do a food tour. My husband a SUPER PICKY eater contacted John and the rest is history. Love the history of Atlanta and midtown. What touched me the most is how John treated every individual that he came in contact with. Its refreshing in this day an age to see love of others unlike yourself on full display. The food stops were so good that my PICKY husband agreed to try it again. Keep changing the world through history, food and love. Xoxo

Ms. S.! There is a part of your review....my wife, Sweet Jeri reading it over my shoulder...and she reads this.... ..."to see love of others, who are unlike yourself, on full display." Then I got a great big hug! We are all in the same boat, paddling madly....just some of us are on Peachtree Street!! My best to you...and the "Picky One!" John
