My husband and I booked this food tour as a fun activity to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We love to try restaurants all around Atlanta but admit we rarely come to Midtown. As locals, Peachtree Food Tours gave us a new appreciation of this part of the city. It's amazing to see the growth and change that's happening here and the incredible array of incredible restaurants. John, our guide, is so knowledgable about the area (having lived here for 20+ years) and clearly loves his neighborhood. He took us to some classic Atlanta restaurants and a few new spots - all were delicious and well thought out. John limits his tours to 8 people to keep an intimate and warm feel. I would highly recommend Peachtree Food Tours, not only for people visiting Atlanta, but even more for locals who rarely come to the area. It really made me appreciate the city

Att: TA Readers!! I love when one of my guests whose career is in "Marketing" posts their thoughts!! Wow! What a well written, all inclusive, and inviting review!! Thank you, Rachel!! Always nice to have locals on my foodie adventure because, if you're of an open mind, there is a bunch to be learned about a neighborhood that is not that far away from where you live. My challenge? Get you all to come to my little piece of restaurant heaven and check me out!! It's not really important that you are a local...or a visitor...just come check me out!! I'm a lot of food...and a lot of fun! My best to you and to M.!! Don't be strangers!!

My husband and I decided to explore Atlanta for the weekend. We looked online for options and saw John's tour. It peaked our interest! The combination of good food, history of midtown Atlanta, fellowship and an enthusiastic guide was something we didn't want to pass up. Please don't pass it up either! You will be glad you did this tour. Do it the first day, if possible. John has lots of ideas for not only places to eat but also must see attractions. Enjoy!

TA Readers: My new friends from Mississippi have some great advice! When you head off "to explore" a new city, check out their food tours...and take one "the first day"!! Why? All food tour guides are loaded with dining advice, wanting to help their guests avoid spending good money....on bad food! So.... you get a great education on restaurants and, if you want to get travel-smart quickly, ask your guide all sorts of questions. Nothing quite like "local" suggestions! When Jeri and I travel with M & C, I ask the guide where the locals eat breakfast. Jeri asks about boutique shopping. No malls for her! M. asks the guide for his/her evening dining choices in other parts of town. C. asks what are our guides "must see" attractions. Once you engage your guide in a bit of chit chat, you would be surprised at the little pearls of wisdom that are available...if you just ask!! Thanks Ms. L.!! Here's to more foodie adventures for you and Mr. B as you start traveling the world!! There's a bunch of great ones out there! My best always! John

I really enjoyed the tour. John was very personable and did a great job showing us new places in Midtown, as well as teaching us some of the history of the area. We did this for my moms birthday and everyone in our group had a great time. I would definitely recommend for anyone to try. This is perfect for both visitors and ATL natives.

"Mom's Birthday!" Oh, Wow! Let's put together 4 couples...to include Mom and Dad...and go wandering up and down Peachtree Street...eating...and drinking...and laughing...and singing Happy Birthday really badly!! Yep! TA readers, when you book a private tour with John...and we start at 4:00pm...my foodie adventure can take on a whole other experience. Just sayin'.... Thanks, Trey, for taking a moment to review the evening! Everyone was grinning when I left to head for home...and I'm certain that there was some more bad singing! My best! John
