When attending a convention in Atlanta recently, our friend booked a tour with John and Peachtree Food Tours. We had a WONDERFUL time. The food was EXCELLENT and the history of the area added to the great experience as this was our first visit to Georgia. Because of this experience we would definitely return to Georgia for additional visits. I HIGHLY recommend John and his tour as he's informative, fun and I loved that it was a walking tour!

Gotta love when "wonderful" and "excellent" and "highly" all appear in the same review! Thank you, Audrey! For a first visit to Atlanta (or almost anywhere in this big, exciting world!), I know that Food Tours should give every traveler a reason to return! I show off lots of great restaurants, share amusing stories about the history of my neighborhood, and have a ton of suggestions for not only more food...but where do Atlantans go for fun!! Walking...Eating...Drinking...Learning...Laughing. All of those in one package! TA readers: It's folks like Audrey that make for quite the memorable afternoon!! Audrey, Come and see me again! I'll mix in some new restaurants...and just make up more stories!! My best! John

Really enjoyed the tour. We found a few new restaurants and were introduced to a few menu items that we probably wouldn't have otherwise tried. Good food, good conversation and a little history of Midtown thrown in. I'd recommend for anyone on vacation in Atlanta or for locals just looking for something new to do.

It's always fun when your local guests find a few restaurants that they had no idea existed. Marc, I am expecting to see you on Peachtree Street, enjoying my neighborhood and all the things to do...and all the places to eat! And...you now have a cute illustrated map of Midtown but, even more important, you now know where to park FREE! Don't be a stranger!! Thanks, Marc, for giving a shout-out to locals!! My best! John

What an amazing 4.5 hours. A group (Rotarians) of us took John's walking tour and it was the highlight of our trip! As recommended by John, it's a great introduction to the city and especially to the great restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend this tour. It was a perfect mix of history and food! We even got to meet his sweet wife Jeri that he talks so dearly about. John is also a world traveler and we were able to take away some great nuggets on future world adventures! P.S. Be prepared to walk :-)

Wow! "Highlight of the trip"! I certainly take that as high praise as I work hard at what I do...although walking around with new friends, showing off my Midtown neighborhood, making up stories (!), and joining in the laughter probably shouldn't be considered as "work"!! Thanks, Kimberlie, for recommending my version of A Food Tour! Lots of food! Lots of fun! Lots of great conversations! And...OK...there is some walking. I prefer to call it "strolling"! (which is actually slower than walking!) Really!! I will point out, though, that we sit at the first 4 restaurants...but ..Yes!...there is some walking!! I see more food tours in your future! Of all the food tours that my sweet Jeri and I have taken around the world...and that I shared with your group... I'm certain at least one of those caught your attention! More travel!! More food!! More fun!! My best! John
