We arranged our food tour during a "monsoon" weather day, but had a blast. Although we didn't get to spend as much time outdoors, John was very accommodating and we all went with it. The stops we made were kind (they love John!) and of course enjoyed the food! But even beyond the tour, we were one of the thousands stuck in the Atlanta airport the following day(s). John followed up with me to offer to help in any way. Again, above and beyond. So much to learn about the Midtwown neighborhood, and even John. He's had unique travels we learned about as well. Highly recommend.

Ah-h-h-h.... The famous "monsoon" tour! I have a fabulous photo of you four in raincoats, umbrellas in hand, a background of driving rain...and all of you with big grins!! As to your comment that the waitstaff "were kind. They love John!" I think all of the restaurant folks were extremely surprised to see us!! We had to be the only 5 people out in that weather...and they certainly took care of us! Thank you, Beth, for the lovely review...and the mention of me being "beyond accommodating". I'd like to think that all Southerners are caring and thoughtful, especially when new friends are stuck at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson airport...and they were announcing that it could be a several day delay. Yikes! I couldn't leave you all there! I had more stories to tell.... :) My best to all four of you!! John

My wife and I wanted to do a food tour while in Atlanta. John's food tour had great reviews, but unfortunately the tour appeared to be full. I emailed John and politely asked him to let us know if someone cancelled. John quickly replied and said that he had a private tour that day, but would gladly ask if we could join. Long story short, we were able to join and so glad that we did! John was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. The itinerary of the tour was very well thought out and we never felt rushed. This tour might be more expensive that some other competitors, but it's well worth it! I highly recommend to anyone looking for something fun and different while in Atlanta.

OK, TA Readers!! Be like Sean! On my website it says on almost every page, "Just Call John!" My schedule for that Saturday said "Full" but as Sean learned quickly, if you just call John, he might be able to fit you all in rather nicely! Yahoo! Thanks, Sean, for taking a moment to share your outing with others. ...And you and Ms. L. certainly did "fit in rather nicely"! I heard lots of little conversations and even heard some out-loud grins! Lots of food! Lots of fun! As to the cost of a Peachtree Food Tour, I"m thinking that Sean and Ms. L. soon figured out that my adventure on Peachtree Street is worth every penny!! There's a lot of great food tours out there and it's not that I'm better! I'm just a lot...hm-m-m-m...different!! :) I know that you two are traveling again this year so sign up for a food tour now, take notes, and then send me your thoughts. I'd love to hear your "travel tips"!! My best to you both! Safe travel!! John

Totally enjoyed our tour. Good food with good friends and a great tour guide. The tour was informative and the food was delicious. I will defiantly revisit the eateries. John was our tour guide and he was very informative and entertaining. There was so much historical information to take in. “I loved it”. I would suggest this time of year too. The weather was delightful and I score the event A+.

"Informative" "Delicious" Entertaining" If I was looking for some fun in Atlanta, those are the words I'd want to see throughout the reviews! Easily 80% of my guests have never, ever been on a Food Tour much less know what one is!! Because of that, they are relying on TA reviewers to convince them that this Food Tour thing might actually be a blast!! OK, TA Readers: Be like Janet!! Sign up for a Peachtree Food Tour! I will guarantee that once you figure out what the attraction is, you'll be taking food tours everywhere you travel. ...And there's a bunch out there that get an "A+"!! Thank you, Janet! My best always! John
