My partner and I live in Atlanta and had thought about doing a food tour for a while. It took relatives arriving from California to get us to book it. What a great experience. John mixes some interesting Atlanta history with an excellent selection of restaurants. We sampled a prize winning burger with hard cider. Had a taste of new southern cooking with shrimp and grits and a nice cocktail (Mississippi mule) to cut the heat. Moved on to Italian bruschetta with Prosecco and finished with amazing desserts. Do not eat a big breakfast before the tour! Restaurants change periodically. John brings the city to life for you. Highly recommend this one.

Thank you, Guys! Most of my guests are visitors to Atlanta and particularly to my Midtown neighborhood so it's always a treat to spend time with locals. My goal is to not only feed and educate my guests...but to also entertain! I would certainly agree, "What a great experience." as my little walk-about is much more than a "Food Tour"! Oh sure, there is an awarding winning burger to start things off, all while I'm telling stories about the food...and about the restaurants...and about historic Peachtree Street...and about anything that comes to mind. Yep! It's kind of up to you to sort through the facts...and the fiction. :) Lots of food! Lots of fun!!

Highest recommendation. Just finished our tour - John very nicely added just the two of us on a Tuesday. The food was wonderful but the history and stories were superb. John really gave us a terrific background of Atlanta and particularly Midtown.

"Added just the two of us on a Tuesday" Yep! Tours are typically Fridays - Sundays but my website says, "So traveler, you can't join me in some foodie fun on a scheduled date?? Just call John!" Be like Chuck! Chuck called me, he asked if Tuesday would work, and off went the three of us on a pretty Tuesday afternoon, wandering around my neighborhood...eating, drinking, and learning!! Thanks, Chuck! And, TA readers, when Chuck says above, "Just finished our tour." he means that literally. My tour finished, I went home, and his review popped up the next morning! Wow!

We try to do a food tour whenever we visit another city. It's a great way to learn more about a city, it's history, and other places you want to visit during the rest of your stay. Peachtree Food Tours is #1 for a reason; don't look at the fees as an expense but more like an investment with a doggy bag. The first stop was AMAZING - and I thought to myself, why start so big, will we just be disappointed with the following stops? We weren't! Great stops with a lot of food and good drink pairings. Book with John today; you won't be disappointed.

Wow! Thank you, Jenna! A terrific review! And...you didn't share the secrets of the tastes that are on my little neighborhood adventure! "Investment with a doggy bag"! Yep! Who goes on a food tour and at the final foodie stop (and you're stuffed!), you go shopping...for treats for later?? And...everybody leaves grinning!! A unique experience! "You won't be disappointed"!!! I certainly agree!! My best to you...and to J.!! (I loved the photo you sent me!) As always! John
