From a fellow food tour owner, and self proclaimed food tour junkie... John does a spectacular job of taking you thru the history and eateries in Midtown Atlanta. Laced with humor, he combines yummy food and drink tastings peppered with historical facts, and delivers a great time, a comfortably full belly, and a little gift to enjoy later. As one visiting an area always should do, schedule your tour to coincide with your arrival. You'll have plenty of ideas to fill in the rest of your stay. Thank you, John, for a wonderful experience!

TA Readers: It's always a treat to have another Food Tour owner on your tour because throughout the adventure, we both are learning from each other. Sheryl is the 7th food tour owner that has wandered up and down Peachtree Street with me...and I'd like to think that we're all smarter...and deliver a better tour...because of the experience! Be like Sheryl...take a food tour the first possible day in your visit to any city! Learn where to dine! Learn where to have fun! Talk to your guides! Travel smart!! Thanks, Sheryl, for sharing your thoughts on my version of Midtown Atlanta foodie fun!! My best! John My best! John

What a great way to spend an evening after sitting in a meeting ALL DAY!!!! John met our group at the GA Tech Hotel & Conference Center and we started our tour from there. The walking, the stories and history of Midtown were such a treat! We had a group of 10 - some of us are locals, others from out of town - all of us came away saying....."That was a great night!" John has a true gift....it is his Passion! And when Passion collides with knowledge and humor and Food it equals = Peachtree Food Tours!!! Enjoy y'all !!!!

Wow! Thank you, Lynn! Gotta love that review!! On my website is says, "Just Call John!" and that's what Lynn did. Together we put together a custom tour that had a perfect start time for them, a different mix of food and restaurants...and after sitting all day in meetings, they were primed for my idea of a dining adventure!! TA Readers: This is not simply a food tour! I love my Midtown neighborhood not only for its 60+ restaurants but the stories that go back to the Civil War...to include what has happened in the 20 years that my sweet wife and I have lived here. You'll soon figure out why we wouldn't live anywhere else!! Oh-h-h...and you probably should know that part of the entertainment is that I make up most of the stories. It's sort of up to you, as my guest, to sort it all out!! ( No! Not really!! That suggestion of fact vs fiction is what makes for great entertainment!) Be like Lynn! Just Call John!! Thanks again, Lynn! My best to your group...and let's do this again!!

We had a great time with John and the food choices were excellent. We also learned a lot about Midtown and it's history. He pointed out more food places not on the tour for future reference. We had quality food and drinks. I just wish we had more time in Midtown and that we did this tour on day 1 rather than the last day. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Best advice yet!! "I just wish we...did this tour on day 1 rather than the last day." Thank you, Diane, for sharing your thoughts about my Peachtree Food Tour! The three of you had a blast...but you all soon learned that there is an added value of taking a food tour the first day you can when visiting a new city...versus going the last day. I have 60+ restaurants that I can walk to in my neighborhood...and my sweet wife quit cooking 20 years ago...so we go out often! Really. Often. :) I can talk to you about a lot of restaurants!! Plus...as soon as you purchase a ticket, I send out a nice Thank You that includes dining suggestions, fun things to do, where to stay in my neighborhood, where to shop, etc. But, as Diane would agree, there is nothing like spending a few hours with a local to make you travel-smart. I should be able to answer almost any question about Atlanta...and if I can't, I will find someone who can! Take a Food Tour the FIRST day and you'll realize how important Diane's advice is!!!
