This was my first food tour, and it was amazing! My boyfriend surprised me with it for our anniversary, and it was so much fun! John (the tour guide) is delightful. He makes sure that he knows everyone's names and why they are there, and he doesn't do huge groups so it's more intimate. It really made the whole even personal and special!

Thank You, Mary! And a Hello to Jesse...who was for sure part of the fun! It was his idea to take you on a surprise food tour! I apologize for the god-awful singing...but ...oh what fun we had! And thanks for pointing out to my TA readers that I keep the groups small (max of 8) so there is plenty of time for great little conversations as my guests meet new folks...and maybe make new friends. The tour is much more personal as we wander around my neighborhood eating and drinking...and laughing...and learning!! Here's to more anniversaries!! (I'm taking voice lessons! Or...maybe not!) My best to you both! John

This food tour was a great experience! Highly recommended! I went on this tour with my mom, who recently moved here, and my sister, who was visiting. This is not some big company that runs many different tours. This is the owner who knows and lives in Midtown. He had great stories to tell and knew a lot about the area. You are not getting tiny tastings at a bunch of different places. You are getting a substantial (though definitely smaller than meal size) serving of well-chosen dishes with the opportunity to (briefly) savor your food as you enjoy the company. Be prepared for a bit of walking (if you're in decent shape, you won't give it a second thought). I enjoyed having some time and movement between stops. I would take this tour again. I probably WILL take this tour again. Even if all of the stops are the same, it would be an enjoyable outing with anyone, local or not, who likes to eat and who I would enjoy spending a couple hours with.

Thank you, Ms. W.!! Thanks for taking a few moments to share how much fun you had...and that you'd do it again!! Grab a gang of folks and let me discount that next adventure with me!! "Enjoyable outing". I like those words!! But, even better, is your note about "spending a couple hours with". You, your Mom, your sister just chatting away while we all ate and strolled through my neighborhood. What a fabulous way to create quality time with family!! A Food Tour is also a terrific time for birthday or anniversary outings! How about a company gathering vs sitting at one restaurant!! Not to mention a bachelorette party alive on Peachtree Street!! A Food Tour is not only an opportunity for relationship bonding...but what an incredible way to learn about the city you're in....and eat and drink!! Be travel smart!! Here's hoping to see you soon! My best always! John

I wasn't sure what to expect when my coworker and I first signed up for the food tour. Walk around the city for 4 hours and eat at random stops? I wasn't sure how interesting it would be, but we were testing out the tour for a work event so I figured it should be interesting. John BY FAR exceeded my expectations! This was not only a "food tour" it was also a history/culture/funfacts amazing tour of midtown all rolled into one! John was not only extremely informative, but he was also hilarious and pretty entertaining! The 4 hours literally flew by and our group had such a blast! I've been in Atlanta for over 10 years now and even I felt like my eyes were being opened to a new city! Thank you John!!! I highly recommended this tour to everyone! The food portions were perfectly sized so you literally feel full at the end of the tour! And you do plenty of walking so you are also burning those calories off as you go! I can't wait to do another tour in the future!

I tell all my guests when we first gather that the most difficult part of owning a Food Tour is...How do you sell something when most of your potential guests have NO idea what a Food Tour is!! Wow! Thanks for the lovely review! I'm going to cut and paste it everywhere on line as my main marketing tool!! Att: TA Readers - Mrs. R. has written among the best descriptions of what actually unfolds!! And... included the fact that she wasn't sure what she had signed up for!! The Tour "exceeded" her expectations!! Yahoo!! Tasting! Sipping! Walking! Learning! Laughing! What's not to like??!! Thank you, Dear! My best! John
